Sometimes there’s just so much lore in Genshin Impact that you end up accomplishing nothing when it comes to progressing through your quests. With so many foreign words that get treated like common knowledge, it’s not really a surprise why some players are left confused, especially when it comes to dispersing purple-tinted mists or awakening the power of Khvarena.

Well, you’d be surprised that these mere words are nothing more than simple instructions that you need to follow in order to finish the quest, it’s more straightforward than you think! Read the guide, take a few minutes to scroll about, and learn just what needs to be done.

Genshin Impact | Awaken The Power of Khvarena & Disperse The Purple Mist

To do this quest in the first place, Sorush must already be unlocked. If this isn’t the case well you’ve really done a lot of reading, but you have to do the Splendorous Sky That Day quest first if you want to progress further with this one.

Once that’s out of the way head over to the western side of the Asipattravana Swamp. Upon arriving go to your inventory and switch to Sorush to begin.

Awaken the Khvarena by interacting with the Nirodha fruits latched on to the thorny branches, these are yellow orbs that you need to interact with using Sorush’s power. Doing that will let out a glimmer of light that points you to the filth that’s defiling the area.

All you have to do now is move up to the purple blobs that pop up and drop the fruit on top of them, which in turn cleanses it. Do this three times to finish the challenge and you’re basically done!

You’ll barely use up a minute of your time to actually finish it, now go and try it out yourself!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
