Hunting for collectibles in video games is always a chore, but only if you don’t enjoy the video game you play. And if you don’t enjoy it, then why are you still playing? Beat the game and move on to other games! But if you do enjoy the game and want more, then doing all the post ending stuff is your best way to extend your playtime. If you are one of those gamers who loves to collect, then this Chapter 1 Collectible Locations guide will help you collect everything in Chapter 1 in Bayonetta 3.
All Chapter 1 Collectible Locations – Bayonetta 3
The first of 23 collectible locations in Chapter 1 is a Medallion Shard. After the start of the chapter, turn around and walk to the edge of the land and look down. You should see some land you can land on, as well as the breakable object containing the Medallion Shard.
At the starting area again, go forward and turn left. Look down over the ledge and you should see the bubble containing the Figure Box.
The next collectible takes you up the hill that leads to the second part of the starting area. You should see a large structure with what appears to be cracks on the wall. You can break down the wall and see the Echoes of Memory collectible inside.
After getting the Echoes of Memory, go outside the structure and look behind it. Just at the edge of the land, you should see a Card Pack collectible on a tree.
Right next to the Card Pack is a purple light emanating from the ground. This is the Broken Witch Heart collectible, and you have to complete the challenge to get it.
After getting the Broken Witch Heart, head to the waterfall and jump on the floating platform. This will trigger another platform for you to jump on. You will have to jump on all platforms until you get to the final one that takes you up to where the Card Pack is.
The next collectible requires a key, which you can find when you proceed through the chapter. Look to your left and you should see a giant key floating. Pick it up and turn back around.
Go behind the waterfall and you will find the path blocked by a field. You will need the key you picked up to open it and get the Broken Witch Heart.
Moving forward into the chapter until you reach Shibuya, go to the collapsed tunnel and you will find a Cat Tear of Blood. The cat will run as soon as you get close, and they are incredibly fast. To catch it, it is best to intercept the path of the cat, rather than chasing it.
From the starting point, go right and you should see a purple light that has the Broken Moon Shard.
When you reach the point where you encounter the enemy that can control time, defeat the enemy and use it to reverse time until the rubble from the building in front of you serves as platforms for you to jump up and get the Echoes of Memory.
You can find a Figure Box to your right as well. Once you get the Echoes of Memory, go to the parking lot and you should see the bubble containing it.
At the starting Shibuya area still, there should be a destroyed train car with an entryway. Go inside and you will find a Figure Box collectible.
Exiting the train car, look to the building on your left and jump up until you reach the roof. Look behind you and you should see a building with two collectibles on it. On the left where there is a wide area for combat, you will see a Heavenly Light. To the right, you can get a Card Pack near the edge.
After getting both collectibles, look at the middle building. There should be a large, circular structure on it. Climb up the circular structure and you will find a Figure Box at the top.
Jump down from where you got the Figure Box and go up the stairs that’s next to the entrance of the building. Behind it lies a Card Pack.
Moving through the building until you reach the other end where you exit, you should see a café called Perseus Café. On the hanging sign, there is a Frog Tear of Blood hanging off it.
Continuing until you reach the area with the shop, there is a purple light that has the Broken Witch Heart.
In the sewers, you can find a Card Pack floating up in the air. You have to check the right side when you go through the little tunnel, or else you’ll miss it.
In the large room in the sewers, you can find a Crow Tear of Blood perched on the railing. Just like the cat, the crow will run as soon as you approach. It is best to intercept its flight path.
In the same room, you should find a staircase going down. Halfway down the staircase, you will find a Figure Box.
At the bottom of the large sewer room, you will see an entrance to a large atrium. On the left side of the room, you can find an Echoes of Memory.
After getting out of the sewers and back into the train tunnel, you will get the tutorial for Scurriers. This one is part of the tutorial and can be found as you progress through.
