Berry Avenue is a popular roleplaying game on Roblox that continues to be updated on a regular basis. In the latest patch, we just got a whole lot of new stuff added, including an entire zone that you can fly to. In this guide, I will be giving you a tour of all the stuff you can expect to see in the new area, as well as how to go there and back!
Complete Update 35 Guide (Los Angeles Airport Location, Sephora Store, & More)
A lot of the changes in the patch notes are just some quality of life changes and bug fixes, but the one worth talking about is the massive new Los Angeles airport location that was just added. This has brought a lot of people back into the game.
To get there, you will first want to drive to the airport and go get a ticket through the self-check in booths or the counter (either way works). There, you can get yourself a ticket to Los Angeles.
After getting your ticket, check it by clicking on the plane ticket icon on the left hand side of the screen. There, you will see what gate number you have to go to. Head through the security check and find your gate.
For returning console players: If you need help navigating the menus, such the plane ticket, head over to our guide on how to play Berry Avenue in PS4 & PS5 first for a quick refresher on the controls!
Once you have boarded your plane, feel free to click on “Skip Flight”. This will instantly teleport you to the Los Angeles map, which is what we’re all here for!
Upon arriving, the first thing you will notice is that is looks a lot like Beverly Hills. There are a ton of stores that you can explore, such as the one selling designer bags right beside where you first spawn into the map.
The highlight of this update for many players, though, is the “Make Up Store”, which is pretty much just a generic version of a Sephora store. Just take a look inside; it is literally just a Sephora branch in all but name. Even the shopping bags are the same!
To get here, just follow the brick walkway upwards from where you started, away from the road. You’ll eventually see the generic “Make Up Store” sign to your left.
Once inside, you can grab a shopping basket and pick up all sorts of beauty and skincare products, including eyeliners, foundation, makeup removers, applicators (well, just sponges, really), sunscreen, and more.
Not gonna lie, my knowledge of makeup is limited to what little I needed for cosplaying in conventions IRL, but this seems like a pretty complete store!
When you have yourself a full basket, you can head over to the self-checkout machines in the middle of the store or the counter with the NPC behind it and get yourself a bag full of goodies.
You can’t actually take out what you bought from the bag, but there are beauty items you can equip so that you can RP that you got some stuff.
Payphone Fast Travel
Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to one important feature that will save you some time. Right outside of the makeup store, you will find a payphone with “Book Now!” written on it. This is a fast travel station.
If you interact with it, you will get a list of notable locations that you can go to in the Los Angeles map. These payphones can be found all throughout the streets, and they will instantly teleport you to whichever location you chose.
Other Stores
So, aside from the knockoff Sephora store that everybody is going crazy about right now, there are a whole lot of other places that you can shop in. The next few sections will be a quick run through of these stores!
Store #1: Beverly Boutique
Inside the Beverly Boutique store is a wide range of women’s clothes that you can try out. These also include some 3D avatar items that you can wear while in the game.
All you need to do is approach an item and either click on it or the icon beside it. You have the option to either “Wear” or “Buy” stuff, with the latter bringing up the option to buy it with Robux to permanently add it to your account.
If you don’t need or want to keep an item in your actual Roblox account, you can just wear it and it’ll stay on for the rest of your gaming session. I tried this out for this guide, so I guess my character will just look like this for the rest of the tour:
Store #2: Melrose Muse
Across the street from Beverly Boutique is the Melrose Muse store. This is another clothing store full of more women’s clothing options that you can try or buy. Inside, you’ll find stuff like dresses and pajama sets.
At the back of the store, you will also find a pair of very spacious changing rooms that even have some chairs that you and a couple of friends can use while you try stuff out.
Store #3: Outfitters
Next up, just a few steps away from Melrose Muse is the Outfitters store. This one is more my speed, as it is full of men’s wear. All of its offerings are 2D clothes, though, so I guess I’ll still be stuck with these baggy 3D pants from the boutique for the time being.
As with the stores above, you can wear or buy any of the clothing items on display here by clicking on the icons beside them.
Store #4: Rodeo Regalia
Finally, we have Rodeo Regalia, which offers a selection of items for both men and women. There are also some shoes on display behind the counter, though these are just for show and can’t actually be used.
You can also work the till if you want to roleplay as the store’s cashier. You can’t really do this with the others because the NPC is too close and there is no option to interact with the cash register.
Restaurants in Los Angeles
Going back to the place where you first started, just past the makeup store from earlier, you will find two restaurants. They are just across the street from each other and offer different dishes each.
Restaurant #1: Diamond Dish
First up is Diamond Dish, which has a very fine dining-esque aesthetic and just a very elegant overall atmosphere. If you speak to the NPC, you can actually order a handful of dishes, including some caviar on cream cheese and crackers, a strawberry cake, or even a beef wellington.
Each dish has very generic eating animations, but it’s good enough for some quick dining roleplay. It comes with a free utensil too!
Restaurant #2: Premier Plate
Across the street, you will find Premier Plate, which has more of a bistro vibe. Behind the counter is an NPC that has a striking resemblance to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
Here, you can order what looks like a brownie a la mode, some spinach dip with toasted pita chips, and an entire pot of seafood gumbo. You can actually set the pot of gumbo down on a table or the floor and take a portion by interacting with it.
The restaurant has a small interior, but it also has an outdoor dining area, making it deceptively more spacious than Diamond Dish.
The Photography Studio / Office
If you head to one of the payphones, you will notice that there is also an option to go to a Photography Studio. This place, aside from being a place for professional photo shoots, also has acts as an entire office space.
It comes with makeup stations, various office desks, a conference room, a full pantry, and more. You can also operate the cameras to make them flash, as if you are taking a photo. Perfect for both photo shoot roleplaying or even generic office worker stuff!
The Hotel
This one is not found in the payphone, but near Premier Plate & Rodeo Regalia, you will find the hotel. It has a pretty small lobby and some computers on the counter that you can’t interact with.
The highlight of this place, however, is the fact that you can use the elevator to get to various floors and rent any available room. Just note, however, that the penthouse rooms will require you to spend Robux on the First Class Travel game pass to rent.
Regular Hotel Room
The regular hotel rooms have a very spacious living room and dining area with a very neutral color scheme that also gives off a bit of a minimalist vibe.
There isn’t much to do in this main room aside from sitting in one of the chairs or the couch. You can turn the TV off or on by clicking on the power button in the lower middle part of the screen. The curtains can also be closed or opened at will.
The kitchenette has a weird combination of equipment as it has a toaster, an espresso machine, and a stand mixer for some reason. The rest is pretty much what you’d expect from a typical hotel room.
You have a bathroom with a tub, as well as a bedroom with a lot of space to move around in. In the latter, you will also find a wardrobe where you can edit your avatar. There is also an empty balcony where you can view the city from whichever floor your room is in.
Penthouse Hotel Room
Although I don’t have the required game pass, I can still give you a brief preview of the penthouse room at the top floor of the hotel. Needless to say, it is much bigger than the normal one.
It has a more elegant living room, featuring a larger table and an extra couch. Under the TV is also a fireplace giving the room a more atmospheric feel. The dining area and kitchen are combined and is more complete, featuring a fridge, a stove, and a microwave.
Past that, you will find a bedroom and bathroom that are fairly similar to the ones in the normal hotel rooms. However, one key difference is that there is a vanity table in its own separate corner.
There are also additional bedrooms with single size beds and more, as well as larger bathrooms to accommodate larger groups of people should they spend the night here.
Finally, up the stairs, you will find a hangout spot with its own fireplace surrounded by multiple couches. If you step out the doors, you will also find your very own rooftop swimming pool, which is within eyeshot of the neighboring penthouse.
Los Angeles Apartments
Oh, you thought we were done? There’s one last thing. Just a few steps away from the designer bag store, which is beside the spawn area, you will find the apartments. Here, you can rent rooms just like in the hotel.
Just go to any floor and claim any available room. Again, the penthouse rooms also require the First Class Travel game pass. Don’t worry, as I can still give you a preview for those as well.
Normal Apartment Room
These rooms, unlike the hotel’s, feel a lot more complete and cozier. The living room has a large couch and a small fireplace at the side. You can turn the fireplace on or off by clicking on it!
Next to the living room is the kitchen / dining room. The kitchen island basically doubles as a dining table, with four stools lined up in one side. The kitchen part of the room features a fridge, a sink, and a microwave.
There is also a door leading to an empty room in the kitchen, which I’m assuming is a sort of walk-in pantry. There are also two balconies that you can access via the glass doors here.
There are also two bedrooms in separate corners of the apartment. One appears to be a girl’s room with a gaming computer and an entire section dedicated to a vanity. The other is a more generic bedroom, but it has its own bathroom.
Penthouse Apartment Room
The penthouse rooms are incredibly large and fit for a whole family. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a very spacious living room that features a fireplace under the TV.
At one corner, there is a dedicated spot for pets. It has a cat tree and a little bed on the floor. In the opposite end of the room is a bathroom with a tub that has a view of the city.
Directly behind the television is a complete kitchen and dining area. There are enough seats to accommodate a family and several guests, as there are stools at the island and in a bar at the side.
The kitchen itself features an induction cooker and various other appliances, including a fridge and a microwave. There is also a standalone dining table in the middle of the room.
In the same floor, there is also our first bedroom of the penthouse apartment. This one features a gaming computer with a couple of YouTube play button plaques above it. Other than that, it is a very generic and neutral bedroom.
Up the stairs, you will find multiple bedrooms that serve different functions. There are a whole bunch of them, excluding an empty room with a window. Here is a quick summary of what each room contains:
- There is what appears to be a baby’s bedroom with a crib-like single bed and a sort of mini house decoration. It also has a small strawberry stool and a diaper changing table.
- One room has bunk beds and a few bean bags in it. This room has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet.
- Two rooms are both standard bedrooms, with one having a TV and the other having a computer and office chair. These two share a bathroom that also connects both of them.
Leaving Los Angeles
I’ve pretty much shown you every significant new feature that you can explore in the new Los Angeles area. Now, let me quickly show you how to get back to Berry Avenue from here.
Basically, right outside of the apartments, you will find the car rental booth. If you talk to the NPC, you will be given the option to fly back to Berry Avenue. As soon as you click on “Yes”, you will instantly be teleported back to the airport in Berry Avenue.
And that wraps up this guide on everything new that you can find in the latest update of the game!
