As a JRPG, it shouldn’t be too surprising that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has a lot of grinding involved and post-game content to potentially go through. In this guide, we will be showing you one decent build that you can try out once you reach the late game stages, which uses characters that you likely already have by now.

Best Endgame Team Build

There are many team setups that can be viable in the later stages of the game, and a lot of it will depend on the stuff you currently have or just your personal preferences in general.

With that said, this particular team setup is centered mainly around Momo, with some decent secondary damage dealers and even supplemental heals and buffs coming from the frontline.

Front Row Characters

  • Iugo – Equipped with Rune of the Warrior’s Path, Rune of Slash, and Rune of Mighty Power (x2). This setup will decrease his defenses, but on the flip side, his strength will be hilariously high.
  • Mio – Equipped with Rune of Iaido Strike, Rune of Mighty Power, Rune of Water, Rune of Tremendous Power, and Rune of the Warrior’s Pinnacle. Pretty “meh” early on, but a particularly good character once you have the necessary stuff on her.
  • Reyna – Equipped with Rune of the Firefly, Rune of Impregnable Defense, Rune of Armor, and Rune of Earth Enchantment. Basically your main tank unit, which is why the Firefly rune is necessary, paired with the armor buffs.

Back Row Characters

  • Isha – Equipped with Rune of Pure Water, Rune of Arcane Magic, Rune of High Magic, Rune of Ice Needle, Rune of Inferno, and Rune of the Mage’s Pinnacle. This returning character from Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a pretty solid damage dealing mage with this setup.
  • NowaEquipped with Rune of Swinging Slash, Rune of Mighty Power, Rune of Chain Smash, Rune of Tremendous Power, Rune of Searing Blast Wave, Rune of Blessed Luck, and Rune of Divine Skill. The game’s main character is a decent damage dealer in his own right.
  • Momo Equipped with Rune of High Magic (x2), Rune of the Mage’s Pinnacle, Rune of Radiance, Rune of Conflagration, Rune of the Mage’s Path, and Rune of the Magical Font. Momo becomes an absolute beast of a damage dealer late game, especially if he (yes, Momo is a boy) has the right runes.

Support Character

For this slot, you’re free to pick whichever support character you are more comfortable using. For example, Douglas is a decent choice for combat, while Yulin can be particularly useful if you are still grinding up experience.

On that note, if you are still grinding at this stage of the game, consider checking out our guide on how to find the Growth Badge in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes if you missed it early on in the story. It will give you a massive bump in training speed, and it will be helpful if you need to play catch up with certain characters.
