Best Level & Puzzle Farm Methods in Anime World Tower Defense

Anime World Tower Defense (AWTD) may be a tower defense game, but it’s also really grindy. There’s a ton of features in the game that you can only get by grinding through levels.

This includes better units, power-ups, and other perks. In general, players need to collect Puzzle Pieces to use as currency for the game, so here I talk about the best level and puzzle piece farm methods in AWTD.

Best level & Puzzle Piece Farm Methods

Event Quest

If you open the Quest tab on the left side of the main screen, you will see a list of Event Quests that you can accomplish for rewards. 

The quest you want to focus on is the Clear Wave on [Legend: Crossover City], which gives you 1 Mystical Crystal and 450 Puzzle Pieces for every 50 waves completed.

The Mystical Crystal is a great item that can be used to evolve and level up your units. Along with the Puzzle Pieces and the ease of the quest, this is the quest that you’ll want to grind for Puzzle Pieces. 

The Tiny Task Method

You can AFK grind this event quest using a tool called Tiny Task. This is a convenient tool that can be used to automate any task so that the code essentially plays the game while you’re away.

For safety reasons, we will not be embedding the Tiny Task link to this article, but if you do enough digging, you should be able to find it.

Next, open the game and equip the Red Archer unit for your team. If you don’t have an archer, you can also equip any unit with the Resist passive. 

Head to the teleporter and warp to the adventure. Head to the Crossover City map and select the Insane difficulty. The difficulty doesn’t matter, but choosing the Insane difficulty grants extra gold and Item drops. 

Quick Start and load into the game. This is when you can set up your Tiny Task automaton.

To do this, click the Tiny Task taskbar and select Continuous Playback. Set up a Recording Hotkey to start recording a Tiny Task. 

When you spawn into the map, start recording your Tiny Task (using the Recording Hotkey that you set). 

This is what you want to record on Tiny Task:

1. Click on the screen twice (anywhere you want).
2. Click on your Archer or corresponding unit.
3. Place him at the start (shown below)

4. Place another Archer right behind the first.
5. Click Ready.
6. Click Speed and set it to Auto Skip. 
7. Set speed to x3 Speed.
8. Place your third archer anywhere on the map.

9. Keep clicking right on top next to your name just in case the game doesn’t skip. 
10. Wait until you lose.
11. Spam the Restart button. 
12. Keep spamming it until the screen goes black.
13. Spam the Skip button that spawns on the right side of the screen.

14. When you respawn on the map, wait 5 seconds.
15. Press the record button again.

Now, you can test out your recording. Press the Play button and see whether the Tiny Task repeats everything you did during the first run. 

If everything works right, you can leave Tiny Task open and it should auto-play this Crossover Map for you and finish any number of waves until you decide to stop the task.

This means you can keep earning Puzzle Pieces without actually playing the game.
