Black Myth Wukong has several areas to explore with so many bosses that you can find. But did you know there are some secret areas too? One such secret area is the Ancient Guanyin Temple that you can unlock by ringing three bells.

In this guide, we’ll show you the locations of all the three bells that you need to ring. After that, you’ll be able to access the secret area. Without further delay, let’s dive in!

Three Bells Locations Guide

It’s important to keep in mind that the three bells are each guarded by a boss. Some of the bells are directly guarded while the others generally guard the path that you need to follow.

So, be prepared for a boss fight when you’re going to the locations of these bells.

We are not yet sure whether you need to ring the bells in order or not. So, just to be safe, we recommend you ring the bells in the order we’ve shown below. You’ll unlock the locations in this order anyway.

Feel free to use the Table of Contents if you’re only interested in a specific bell.

Bell Location #1 – Forest Of The Wolves | Outside The Forest

For the first bell location, you’ll want to fast travel to the Outside The Forest shrine that can be found in the Forest Of The Wolves.

If you haven’t unlocked this Shrine yet in Black Myth Wukong, progress through Chapter 1 and you’ll eventually get the shrine.

Once you’ve teleported here, go straight and you’ll come across two enemies here. From here, you want to turn left then right in the direction shown in the image below.

Go a bit ahead and you should be able to see a bridge. Cross the bridge all the way to the other side.

After that, you should notice an archway towards the right.

Head towards it and go to the area beyond.

You’ll come across the Guangzhi boss here. If you haven’t defeated him already, then you’ll need to take care of him.

After he’s defeated, you should be able to see a bell that he’s guarding. After you’ve killed him, ring the bell for the Ancient Guanyin Temple.

Bell Location #2 – Bamboo Grove | Snake Trail

Next, you’ll be fast traveling to the Snake Trail shrine that can be found in Bamboo Grove.

This shrine can be found in Chapter 1 of Black Myth Wukong as well. So, if you haven’t unlocked it already, just progress through the story until you get it.

After you spawn at the shrine, look to the right and you’ll see some stairs. Go up the stairs and you’ll arrive at the bridge near the Blessed Gourd NPC.

If you didn’t know, this NPC can help you get the boss souls.

Cross the bridge but be warned there are some enemies here. After you cross the bridge, follow the path ahead until you see an archway to the left. Turn left towards the archway.

After the archway, turn left again to go down a long angling path. This path will curve to the left.

When you reach the water, you’ll see a temple up ahead. Your goal is to go to the secret path on the left of the temple entrance.
