Bladers: Rebirth has gone through some significant changes over the past few updates, and new ways to level up and progress in the game in general have surfaced. In this guide, we will try to give you a few tips to speed up this process and help you reach the upper echelon of bladers as fast as possible!
Best Leveling Guide + Tips & Strategies
Before we get into it, if you are very new to the game, consider checking out our complete beginner’s guide for Bladers: Rebirth first. This will have some very low level tips that will help you get a head start as a fresh player.
Eventually, the grind will start slowing down as you rise through the levels and start experimenting with different builds. Once you get the hang of the basics, you can start powerleveling and cheesing the early game with the following tips:
Tip #1. Use a Gleipnir Setup
For starters, building a Gleipnir blade can be a great way to grind through the early levels. These have a high defense rating but have low stats on everything else across the board.
Despite this, its defensive capabilities will ensure that your blade can tank a whole lot of damage. In addition to that, the gravity field ability that comes with the top part scales off of defense, allowing you to deal decent damage even with this setup.
Its alternate angle is another ability that is often slept on by newer players. It will turn this into an early game beast that barely dies.
Gleipnir parts can be purchased from the vending machine at the store right beside the starting area. Each pull from this machine only costs 5,000 cash, so you can get it very early in your career.
NOTE: Check out our guide on the black market locations and new parts in update 4 too. This will be your next step up once you get to a higher level, but it will require a lot of patience and luck!
Tip #2. Fighting NPC Trainers
I also touched on this in the beginner’s guide that is linked at the start of this guide, but fighting trainers is something that you should prioritize as early as possible.
After destroying level 1 rocks for a bit, start challenging the level 5 and 10 trainers scattered all around the park that you initially spawned in. They will provide you with a lot of exp and cash to get your journey kickstarted.
Once they become too easy to beat, start moving to the next zone and fight the trainers that are around your level range. Keep following this gameplay loop and sprinkle in a few boss fights whenever you feel confident enough to face them.
On that note, you should start repeatedly grinding the level 100 boss, Georgiano Alfredo, once you are strong enough to take him on. With a decent defensive build, you can take him on with ease.
This will give you a massive boost whenever you win, and for your first victory, you get a badge that will significantly increase your top’s stats. This is a passive effect, and getting a first time win on other bosses will give you similar bonuses that stack.
You’ll be following this pattern even as you reach the level 999+ zone, where you will still be fighting trainers and bosses. The only difference at that point is that they will have an insanely high level.
Tip #3. Don’t Neglect the Speed Stat
Finally, it should be noted that the speed stat is actually far more useful than you might think. It is an underrated stat that will actually help with your grind in varying ways.
Although pumping some resources into speed will turn your build into a bit of a hybrid style top, this stat will make it a bit easier for you to move around in the stadium and escape a potentially dangerous attack.
Experiment with this a bit to see how much speed you can comfortably have without compromising your power too much. Even just around 50 to 100 points into it will make a noticeable difference.
And those are all of the leveling tips we can give you for the current version of the game. While you are here, take a quick look at our guide on all of the trainer, bosses, aura crystals, and vending machine locations in Bladers: Rebirth to figure out the best grinding route for your level!
