Blasphemous 2 offers you rich amount of content with various myths and secrets for you to unlock as you play. However, in order to access new and better contents, you will want to become stronger to meet some of the game’s requirements. To do that, you will need to gather a lot of materials like Marks of Martyrdom as well as many other unique items.
One of the things you want to do is to max out all of your weapons so that you become stronger. In order to max out all weapons and Altarpiece slots, you will also need to farm the 40 Marks of Martyrdom, which you can obtain by defeating enemies. In this guide, we will show you how to find all Marks of Martyrdom.
All Marks Of Martyrdom Locations
- Marks Of Martyrdom #1: You can obtain this by defeating the The Faceless One boss. Faceless One, Chisel of Oblivion is located at the Repose of the Silent One region.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #2: You can get this Mark by defeating the Orospina boss. As you progress in the Manor of The Embroideries region, you will eventually face her.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #3: To get the third mark, you’ll need to defeat the Lesmes, Incorrupt Sacristan & Sleeping Infanta bosses in the Town of Crowns.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #4: The fourth mark is something you can get by defeating the Radames boss located in the Sacred Entombments.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #5-6: In order to find the next two marks, you will need to defeat the Afilaor boss in the Beneath Her Sacred Grounds area.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #7-9: The next two marks also require you to fight the Benedicta boss in the Basilica of Absent Faces area.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #10-12: Odon is a boss you will find in the Sunken Cathedral area. Upon defeating the boss, you will get two marks as a reward.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #13-16: To get the next three marks, you will want to defeat Sinodo in The Severed Tower. You’ll also gain some other useful items on defeating this boss.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #17-20: Svsona is in the end-game area of Blasmephous 2 called Two Moons. Upon defeating her, you will be given three marks as a reward.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #21-25: Eviterno is a boss you can find at the top of the Crimson Rains. Upon defeating this boss, you will be given 5 marks as a reward.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #26: This mark is something you can get by going to Repose of The Silent One. The exact location has been marked for you in the map down below. Once you get there, climb upwards and use the flying angels to bring yourself to the top and you will be able to find the mark on your right.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #27: The next mark is in the Ravine of the High Stones region. The exact location is in the map down below. Once you get there, hit the bell and immediately run to the right. There will then be a hidden room to your right which you can walk through and reach the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #28: This mark is in City of the Blessed Name. First, head to the location that we have marked for you in the map down below. Then, climb up the ladders and hit the bell you’ll see on your right. After that, some platforms to your left will start spawning. You will then want to jump on those to reach the top and collect the mark to your right.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #29: The next mark is in Profundo Lamento with the location marked for you in the map down below. This is quite an easy mark to get since you will only need to jump on top of the platform to the left side of the room. Then, you’ll be able to collect it.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #30: The next mark is also in Profundo Lamento. We have marked the exact location in the image down below. This one is also quite straightforward since you only need to double jump and dash to land on the platform to the right.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #31: This mark requires you to fight a mini-boss monster.
When you first get to the location we have marked for you in Grilles and Ruin, you will be able to see some mirrors. Then, use those mirrors to get to the top and head towards the left side to go to the room on the left.
Inside, you will see a small flame you can interact with. On interacting with the item, the mini-boss will spawn which you need do defeat. When you defeat the mini-boss, you will receive the mark as a reward.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #32: This is also a mark you can find in Grilles and Ruin. Once you get there, use the angel mechanics to your right and let it bring you to the top platform. Then, you’ll see the mark behind an obstacle. Break it using a plunge attack, however, you will be launching yourself downwards. Then, simply make it all your way back to pick the mark up.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #33: Once you get to the location marked for you in Crown of Towers, complete the parkour that leads you upwards and you will be able to get your next mark. Keep jumping between the angels and you’ll get to the top.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #34: The next mark for you to find is also in Crown of Towers. Once you get there, interact with the blue statue. Then, run straight towards the right side of the room while dodging the floating spirit flames and you’ll be able to pick up the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #35: The 35th mark is in Aqueduct of the Costales, with the exact location marked for you in the mini map down below. Once you get there, move towards your left and climb up the ladders which will lead you upwards.
Then, walk towards your left and start climbing upwards between the walls. After you got up, move towards your right. You will then see a bell which you want to ignore and go past it.
Lastly, keep moving towards the right side of your screen while dashing so that you land on the platform with the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #36: This next mark is also in Aqueduct of The Costales, with the room this time being a little bit in the bottom of the area. Once you get there, head towards your left and you will be able to climb between the walls to go upwards.
Keep climbing until you see the angels that you can hang onto. Once you’ve touched the first one, the others will also spawn, leading you to the area with the mark. There is also wall blocking your way which you can break by using your dash.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #37: The 37th mark is in Aqueduct of the Costales, with the exact location marked for you in the map down below. This mark requires you to fight a mini boss monster in order to obtain the mark so pay attention to your movements and you’ll be able to defeat it.
Once you first get to the area, head towards your right and use your dash to go through the chains. Then, the enemy will spawn which you need to defeat. On defeating him, the wall will unlock and you will be able to get your mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #38: The next mark you want to obtain is in Sacred Entombments. Once you get to the area, go to your right. Then, use your dash to go through the chains obstacle and you will be able to reach the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #39: The 39th mark you need to collect is in Sacred Entombments. See the map down below for the exact location.
Once you get there, head towards your right and follow the directions we have drawn out for you. Then, break the chains that is holding the block and you will fall down along with it. After that, look to your right and you will be able to see the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #40: This mark is in the Mother of Mothers region. In the map down below, you will be able to see its exact location.
Once you first get to the area, look around you and you will be able to find the angels to your left. Then, use those and they will automatically lead you towards the location of the mark. It may take you a few tries, but you’ll eventually get the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #41: This one is a relatively easy mark you can get in Mother of Mothers. Once you get to the location marked for you in the map, simply use a double jump and a dash towards your left. Then, you will be able to land on the platform with the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #42: The 42th mark is also in Mother of Mothers. When you first get there, you will be able to see a blue statue to your left. Interact with it and you will be able to move the floating platform in a different room. Adjust the platform so that it stays somewhere in the middle.
Then, you’ll want to climb upwards using the ladders next to you. Once you got to the room upwards, move towards your left around 3 rooms. Then, use the ladder that will lead you downwards and head towards the right side.
When you do this, pay attention to your map by opening it many times to make sure you do not get lost. However, there may also be some enemies along the way. You can choose to ignore them or fight them, then you’ll be able to reach the end and get the mark.
- Marks of Martyrdom #43: This mark is in the Beneath Her Sacred Grounds region. Once you get to the room in the map below, jump on top of the platforms and you will be able to see a small flame object which you can pick up, and that is the mark. Keep it in mind that the stone platforms disappear if you stay on them too long so be quick as you jump!
- Marks of Martyrdom #44: The 44th mark is in Sunken Cathedral. When you get to the area, use the angel on top of you and jump towards the left side of the room. Then, you’ll be able to reach the mark. Keep it in mind that there is an enemy guarding it so try to defeat them first before you pick up the mark.
- Marks of Martyrdom #45: This mark is in Labyrinth of Tides, with the location marked for you in the map down below.
Once you get there, head towards your left and you will be able to see a wall. Break that wall and you’ll be able to reveal the area in front of you. Then, use a plunge attack downwards and you will be able to reach the mark.
- Marks of Martyrdom #46: The 46th mark is in The Severed Tower. When you first get there, go towards your right and jump downwards. After you fall downwards, you will be able to see a blue statue which you can interact with to unlock the wall blocking the mark. Then, walk towards your left while avoiding monsters and obstacles and you can pick the mark up.
- Marks of Martyrdom #47: The next mark is in the Two Moons area. When you get there, move a little bit towards your left and plunge downwards. This will help you break the trunk blocking you from a room. Inside the room, you’ll be able to see the mark.
- Marks of Martyrdom #48: The 48th mark is also in the Two Moons area. Once you get there, hit the bell and immediately jump towards the platform that appears. Then, keep doing the parkour that leads upwards until you eventually see the mark.
- Marks of Martyrdom #49: Your next mark is in Crimson Rains.
Once you get there, jump on top of the stone pile just like the image down below and let it bring you downwards. As you go down, you’ll see a mirror which you’ll want to use to get to the top and reach the mark.
Keep it in mind that at the last mirror, you will not want to use it. Instead, you will want to use your dash and dash towards the platform with the mark. Then, pick it up and you’ll have another mark in your inventory.
- Marks of Martyrdom #50: The next mark you want to get is also in Crimson Rains. When you first get there, wait for the platform to go downwards, then walk along the path to your right. There are some traps around you so avoid jumping and be patient as you wait for the platform to go down.
Then, at the end, you’ll be able to see some mirrors that you can use to get to the right side of the map. Once you reach the angels, you’ll want to stop climbing and jump downwards. We have marked the exact place you want to jump in the image down below. Then, you’ll land on a platform with the mark.
- Marks Of Martyrdom #51-55: The next five marks are in City of The Blessed Name. These can be obtained after giving all tools to the sculptor and resting.
- Marks of Martyrdom #56-65: Obtained by climbing the Cherub Tower in Garden of The High Choirs. You will need all 33 Cherub to get to the top.
- Marks of Martyrdom #66-67: Can be purchased from the shop in the City of The Blessed Name.
- Marks of Martyrdom #68: Can be purchased from the Moving Merchant in Sunken Cathedral. This merchant will move by talking to him in previous locations and advancing the story.
- Marks of Martyrdom #69: Found in the room behind the hand in Streets of Wakes. To open this door, you will need the Broken Key. In order to get this, select Don’t Kneel 4 times when talking to the hand. Then, give the hand every Fervent Kiss. Finally, talk to the confessor to get the key and open the door. If you have already selected the Kneel option, you can buy the key from the Forlorn Patio shop after giving the hand all Fervent Kisses.
- Marks of Martyrdom #70: Give a Forgotten Tribute to the Chariot in Choir of Thorns (1st Location), then return to the same area to get the Mark of Martyrdom.
- Marks of Martyrdom #71-72: Give a Forgotten Tribute to the Chariot in Profundo Lamento (2nd location), then return to the same area to get the Marks of Martyrdom
- Marks of Martyrdom #73-75: Give a Forgotten Tribute to the Chariot in Choir of Thorns (3rd location), then return to the same area to get the Marks of Martyrdom
