In the winding areas and zones of Blasphemous 2, you might find these collectibles scattered everywhere. Some of them can help you a lot, like Crystal Shards that increase the potency of your Flasks. Then, there are some items that have no clear use for them. But you have to wonder what they’re for. One of those items are Wax Seeds and there’s 6 of them in total in the game.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all the Wax Seeds in the game. We’ll also show you where to use these seeds so that you can get a neat item at the end! Now, let’s see where you can find these seeds!
All Wax Seed Locations
Unlike other collectibles, like Empty Receptacles or Fervent Kisses, Wax Seeds don’t benefit you directly. Instead, after collecting all of them, you’ll get a neat item in the game. Also, unlike the ones I’ve enumerated, these collectibles are easier to get since two of them you just buy from traders!
Wax Seed #1
For the first Wax Seed, we’re going with the easiest one since this item can be found in the City of the Blessed Name. There, to the right side of the area, you can find a doorway where there’s the merchant.
You can use the images above and below as a reference. You’re looking for a dark doorway with a skull on top of it, like how perfectly normal stores look like.
Inside, you can talk to the merchant and buy the Wax Seed for 12,000 Tributes which is one of the pricier items there. It’s all worth it though since it’s just so convenient!
Wax Seed #2
The next Wax seed can be found Aqueduct of the Costales, which is to the northeast of the City of the Blessed Name. On the upper left side of the area, you can find this item.
Once you reach the big open area, you’ll need to drop down and use the cherubs with the rings to go to the upper right. There, you’ll find a small wooden platform where the Wax Seed is on.
Wax Seed #3
Now, going to the opposite of the previous one, we go to the southeast of the City of the Blessed Name. In the area of the Streets of Wake is where we need to go. To the right side, you’ll see a tall area going up, this is where we need to go.
Go up this long area using the platforms and at the very top, you’ll find cherubs with wings. Use them to get to the small platform to the upper right.
Once you get there and go to the right to the new area, you’ll find the item on the ground in the hallway.
Wax Seed #4
For the next Wax Seed, we’ll be going to the lower left areas of the map far from the City of the Blessed Name. The area is called the Labyrinth of the Tides and on the upper left is a square room that you’ll need go to.
It’s not actually a square since there’s a gauntlet of spike traps that you’ll need to jump over. Once you enter the room, go up then left through some traps. Then, down and then right across more traps.
You’ll go back near the entrance where there’s a wall and the item nearby. Just pick it up and be on your merry way.
Wax Seed #5
For this next Wax Seed, we’ll be going to the area above the previous one. The item is actually in the middle of two areas, the Severed Tower and the Repose of the Silent One.
The area shown below is where you need to go, but you’ll actually need to do something else first. You see, the Wax Seed is sold by the Moving Merchant, and he can be in multiple areas in the map. Once you talk to him, he’ll move to another area, one of the areas he’ll move to is where we’re going.
Once you talk to the moving merchant and made him move to this area, just talk to him. He’ll have the Wax Seed for sale for a whopping 6,000 tributes which honestly isn’t that much. That’s way lower than the first wax seed!
Wax Seed #6
The last Wax Seed we’ll get is in the Two Moons area. This place is actually two areas mirrored, and you’ll need to use the fountains to traverse the areas. The Wax seed is on the upside-down side of the area, shown below.
When you get there, you’ll see a wall that divides the area in the middle. The item is on one of the platforms at the top of the wall shown below.
How to Use the Wax Seeds
Now that you’ve collected all these Wax Seeds, what are they for anyway? Well, once you have all the seeds, you’ll want to go to the Severed Towers which is the left most part of the map. There, you’ll need to find this area shown below.
There you’ll find an NPC and you’ll need to plant all the seeds in front of him. Since the NPC can be a bit grotesque or weird for some readers, we’ve opted out of showing it to you. You’ll have to see it for yourself! Once you’ve planted all the seeds, you’ll get the Remembrance of Cesareo.
