Blasphemous 2 is a recently released side-scrolling game that allows players to explore the nightmare world of Cvstodia. The game serves as a sequel to the original Blasphemous game. Since the game has powerful enemies and bosses, players will need to ensure that their health remains in good condition.
Additionally, the Bile Flasks will also have to be accounted for since the enemies in the game are unforgiving. This guide will show you how to increase your maximum health and the number of flasks that you can carry.
How To Upgrade HP & Flasks
Location of NPC
To start off, players will need to locate the NPC that can provide the required upgrades. For this, head to the City of the Blessed Name. Inside the city, head right, and eventually, you should be able to enter the castle.
NOTE: You will need the Wall Climbing ability to reach the location.
Once inside the castle, keep heading right, and you should come across a suspended platform with a ladder that allows you to get to a higher level. Refrain from jumping on the platform and instead jump down.
The goal is to reach the other side, and this can be done by using the wall in front of you when you jump down. Simply jump towards the wall, and your character will slide off it. Keep jumping repeatedly into the wall to gain height and get on the other side.
On the other side, there will be a ladder that leads to the lower level. Take this ladder and at the bottom enter into the passageway. You will emerge into a chamber, and as you venture into it, a giant NPC will be waiting for you next to a Chalice.
Upgrades
There are three different upgrades that this NPC provides. The first one is increasing your maximum health. This can be achieved by providing the NPC with an Ornate Chalice. Talk to the NPC to give her the chalice and your health will be increased.
To increase the number of Bile Flasks that you have, simply provide the NPC with an Empty Receptacle. This will allow her to grant you an additional flask as well as refill the depleted ones. Lastly, you can provide her with Crystal Shards to increase the healing potency of the flasks.
