How To Get Sharkman Rework V2 & Upgrade NPC Location
Sharkman Karate got a fresh update with reworked skills, new animations, and a much cleaner combo potential. You can unlock all of them from the Sharkman Master NPC located in the Submerged Island.
Right now, you can use the new Z, X, and C skills, with the X move still standing out as one of the strongest Sharkman abilities. The M1 animations also got an upgrade with a stylish water-breathing effect, though they’re not as fast as before which is a bummer for many fishman style players.
The exciting part? A hidden version with shark summons is confirmed in the update logs, it was accidentally added early but is now locked until Week 4. That’s when the real fun begins.

Step 1: Talk to the Sharkman Karate Teacher
Start by heading to the Sharkman Karate Teacher. When you talk to him, he’ll say:
“As an apprentice, I can only teach you so much. You should speak with my master in the Submerged Island.”
That’s your clue. The journey continues at the Submerged Island.
Step 2: How to Reach the Submerged Island
To get there:
- Go to the Tiki Outpost (added in the previous update).
- Find the submarine NPC.
- Travel down to the Submerged Island.
Once you arrive, follow the path to a secret cave area where you’ll meet the Sharkman Master NPC.
Step 3: Meet the Sharkman Master NPC
When you talk to the Sharkman Master, he tells you straight up:
“Come back in Week 4 if you want to learn my secret Sharkman melee abilities.”
This means you can’t unlock Sharkman Rework V2 just yet—but you can start preparing.

Step 4: Training with Sharkman Slap Battle
To qualify for the upgrade, you’ll need to train using the new Sharkman Slap Battle minigame:
- Go back to Mansion and head outside to the arena rings.
- Press E to join, choose a fish, and start the training.
- The mechanics are simple:
- Press left-click when your bar lands in the green zone.
- Time it right to land slaps, deal damage, and even hit criticals.
Winning rewards you with tokens, though there’s a cooldown (about 30 minutes to 1 hour) before you can farm more.
Week 3 vs Week 4 Unlock
Right now (Week 3 of 6), you can only train and get ready. In Week 4, the Sharkman Master will unlock the secret melee abilities—finally giving us access to the full Sharkman Karate V2.
Current Combos & Community Opinions
Some players on Discord are calling the rework weak, but from my testing, Sharkman is actually really good for combos:
- Use Kitsune to stun.
- Chain into Sharkman X for another stun.
- Follow up with your strongest moves for massive damage.
The rework might not feel crazy yet, but with the V2 upgrade and hidden shark abilities coming soon, it’s looking pretty busted.
Farming Summer Tokens Along the Way
While waiting for Week 4, you can grind the Pain Boss event for Summer Tokens. I managed to pull 400+ tokens in a single run, which is almost enough for a Summer Gacha spin. If you did the Fishing Event, you’ll get extra tokens too—making the grind even easier.

Wrap-Up
So that’s everything you need to know about unlocking the Sharkman Karate Rework V2 in Blox Fruits:
- Talk to the teacher → Go to Submerged Island → Meet the Sharkman Master.
- Train with the Sharkman Slap Battle to prepare.
- Wait until Week 4 to unlock the hidden upgrade.
Until then, enjoy the current rework, experiment with combos, and farm tokens for future updates. Trust me—the Sharkman V2 upgrade is going to be worth it. Meanwhile, if you want to unlock all the Pain Rework V2 Secret Abilities, make sure to check out my guided for that as well!
