Want to know the best styles to use in Blue Lock: Rivals? I gotchu! In my tier list, I’ll be ranking all the styles from the latest patch, providing detailed insights into how each style performs in gameplay. Whether you’re looking for the best all-around players, the ultimate defenders, or powerful offensive threats, I’ve got it all covered. This tier list will help you make smarter decisions in the game, especially when choosing which style to use and how to react to opposing styles!
Best Style Tier List
There are currently 12 styles in Blue Lock: Rivals, ranging from the S+ tier, which includes the absolute best, down to the C-tier, where the more niche and situational styles live. The rankings are based on each character’s unique abilities, potential in different situations, and how they perform in both offensive and defensive roles.
As with any tier list, there are always changes and updates, especially with new patches like the Nagi x Reo update. Styles that were once underwhelming may find their place higher on the list, while those that were top-tier may drop due to changes in balance. This tier list is constantly updated, but it serves as the current best breakdown of where the styles stand.
S+Tier & S-Tier
The cream of the crop. These styles offer versatility, power, and game-changing abilities that can dominate matches.
- Rin: Rin’s ability to change directions is busted, especially combined with his curve shot that’s nearly unblockable if you master the technique. His Awakening provides three powerful abilities, making him a force on the field.
- Sae: Sae’s playmaking is some of the best in the game, especially after his Perfect Pass buff. The synergy with Shidou and his magic turn make him a game-changer. His versatility, though dependent on Awakening, is unmatched in terms of creating opportunities.
- Aiko (Defender): Aiko is the best defensive character, hands down. His ability to reset cooldowns is incredibly powerful, and his defensive moveset is top-tier. He could be moved to S+ if her Awakening improves, but for now, he’s the king of defense.
- Reo: Reo’s ability to copy any weapon or ability in the game makes him extremely flexible. Whether you’re on offense or defense, the option to adapt without losing any abilities puts him in a great position. His Awakening elevates him, but he could rise further with more time.
- Shidou: Shidou might not be the easiest to place, but he’s a solid pick due to his tracking abilities and the synergy with Sae’s chemical reaction. His Awakening could use some work, but he’s still a great overall option.
A-Tier
These styles are powerful and reliable, offering excellent tools for competitive play.
- Barou: Barou’s fastest shot in the game combined with his chops makes him a dangerous attacker. While his Awakening isn’t as impactful as some of the others, he still provides a solid offensive threat. His speed and power keep him in A-tier for now.
- Nagi: Nagi is a versatile pick. His new shot and trap ability already make him strong, and with the dodge ability, he’s quick to react and adapt. His all-around playstyle is solid, and his ability to adjust in various situations keeps him in the A-tier.
B-Tier
Solid choices that are good in the right hands but have limitations compared to higher-tier styles.
- Gagamaru: Gagamaru is great for all-around play, especially in GK situations. His versatility remains valuable, but other styles are more specialized now. His all-around strength is his greatest asset, but he’s been surpassed by more focused options.
- Isagi: Isagi’s reworked Awakening gives him access to the U-20 shot, which provides additional versatility. His direct shot and pass are reliable, but his range is limited compared to higher-tier picks, placing him in B-tier.
C-Tier
These styles have more specific niches but generally lack the versatility or strength to compete at higher levels.
- Chigiri: Chigiri relies heavily on his acceleration, but that’s not enough to make him a standout. His Awakening can be strong in specific situations but lacks the consistency and impact needed to compete with the higher tiers.
- Bachira: Bachira’s dribbling is decent but too situational. If you miss the range on his moves, you’ll lose possession, and his steal move is underwhelming. His Awakening could easily be part of his base moveset, and his overall power lags behind the current top-tier picks.
Final Thoughts
That’s the rundown of my Blue Lock: Rivals best style tier list! A few notes to wrap things up:
- Reo might be the biggest jump, moving to S-tier with his versatile copy ability. It’s a game-changer that sets him apart.
- Gagamaru holds his place in B-tier due to his strong all-around play, but specialized roles are outshining him.
- Aiko is an excellent defender, and while his Awakening might not be as powerful as some others, he’s still a top choice in the S-tier.
- Barou is a solid A-tier pick, but his Awakening keeps him from being truly top-tier.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—do you agree with my placements? Where would you rank the styles? Let me know in the comments!
