With the new April update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, you now have even more content to go through aside from just interacting with your favorite childhood heroes!

You can now craft items like the Brilliant Blue Potion as well.

Now you can go around the valley once more to get a hold of the resource yourself, but what is this fabled blue potion? What does it do and where can I get the materials needed to create it?

In this guide, you’ll know everything you need to know when it comes to making and using the Blue Potion whenever you go on your next adventure!

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Blue Potion Complete Guide

To make the Brilliant Blue Potion, you’ll need to get your hands on five mysterious blue items scattered around the valley.

The items you’re looking for are one potato, a shell, a starfish, a book, and a gem. All of them are colored blue of course.

Here’s where you need to go in order to find them.

Blue Potato

You can find the blue potato inside of Ursula’s house, the one you built in Lair Sweet Lair

It’s right next to her throne, just remember where you put down her house if you ever plan on getting this resource first.

Blue Shell

Head on over to the Moana Realm to get the blue shell. There should be a small shoreline with a blue seashell on it and a few rock formations in the horizon. Go to the back of those to find the blue shell in plain sight.

There is a slight problem however, an invisible maze will block your path so move around it until you can push in further once you get to the back.

Blue Starfish

Next we’re taking a visit to Ariel’s place, you’ll find another blue seashell to your left indicating that you’re going the right way.

Walk over the sand in the image above to go through another invisible water maze. You just have to turn to the right slightly and make another big right turn once you hit another wall.

After that you’ll be led to a shoreline with the Blue Starfish on it.

Blue Book

Once you have the first three items, you can now take them to the Mystical Cave where you can remember how Disney really didn’t do much to save Atlantis: The Lost Empire by going to the small pond at the bottom.

No tricks here this time, simply walk behind the rocks and you can pick up the Blue Book without a hitch.

Blue Gem

The Mines can be quite a maze sometimes, but don’t worry.

Just find the broken off section where pink mushrooms are growing and keep following that path until the tracks come to a sudden drop. To the left of that will be some thorns you can walk over to get the gemstone.

Now to put it all together! Do a little bit of backtracking until you see the pink mushrooms again, take a right shortly after that and you will find two mine carts with a glowing pond to its right.

Place all of the items into the five slots that appear to get the Blue Potion to drop.

There hasn’t been any news to what the Blue Potion actually does, so for now it’s best to keep it safe in your inventory until the local internet people come up with an answer.

While waiting it’s best to start putting the pieces together yourself, so go out there and get searching!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
