BONELAB: Short Lived Achievement Guide

There are some achievements that are… rather questionable. Most notable are Turd Burglar in Duke Nukem Forever, where you have to pick up human poo. Another one is called I Swear! I Did It By Mistake! in Lollipop Chainsaw, where adjust the camera angle to look up under the protagonists skirt. Yeah, those are weird achievements. There are also some weird achievements in other games, like in BONELAB called Short Lived. This one is… rather disturbing, to say the least. But, an achievement is an achievement, and we are here to help you get it.

Short Lived Achievement Guide – BONELAB

To get the achievement, you need to select the Descent level, which is the first level of the campaign.

When you spawn in, you will be in a dark environment with nothing but a noose with you. Uh oh, this doesn’t look good. No way am I actually killing myself for an achievement, am I? Well, hate to break it to you, but that’s exactly what’s happening here. Place the noose around your neck and watch what happens.

It turns out you are being hanged. Maybe you’re a wizard or a witch and have done some rather dark magic things. Maybe you were wrongly accused of being a criminal. Either way, these people are not happy to see you and are waiting for you to die.

Eventually, the platform under you will disappear, and you will slowly suffocate as your vision slowly turns red. When nearing your death, a sword will appear out of nowhere, which you are supposed to use in order to escape. But to get the achievement, you have to ignore the sword and let your sentence carry out. Eventually, your vision fades and you die, but hey! At least you got the achievement.

Elijah Hernandez is someone that loves video games since he was little. It didn't matter to him if people didn't like a video game. If it was fun, that was all that mattered to him. He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
