There’s a new Bayonetta game in town and it seems like our witch protagonist is a bit shorter than usual! Bayonetta Origins is a prequel to the original game and tells the story of the early days of the protagonist when she was just little Cereza. The game features beautiful areas filled with platforming gameplay, combat and puzzles that you expect from a normal Bayonetta game. In this gide we’ll show you how to go through a level in the game for those who may be stuck at something or are lost and don’t know what to do next!

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon  | Chapter 2: Proceed Through the Forest Together

When you’re going through Bayonetta Origins you’ll get to Chapter 2 and be tasked to proceed through the forest together, together with who? Well Cheshire of course, this will be where you’ll meet this nice demon…cat?

Anyway, you can control both Cereza and Cheshire separately, and you’ll need to separate them soon since Cheshire can’t go through Rosemary fields like the one shown above. So proceed normally with Cereza and Cheshire will need to take the long way around.

Continue down the path until you reach the area shown above, you’ll need to use Cereza to make a path for Cheshire by doing a small rhythm mini game.

Continue through the level and you’ll meet your first enemy, use Cereza to bind the enemy and use Cheshire to attack it until it’s defeated. There’s a couple more down the road ahead to get you some practice.

You’ll reach an area where Cereza will cross a vine bridge, in video game fashion the bridge collapses and that’s the part where you’ll learn that Cheshire can be a part of Cereza. You can then spawn Cheshire anytime to fight or remove obstacles.

Not only that but once you reach the area with the resting point, you can use Cheshire to jump certain places like the green plants on the image above. Use them to get to the next area which is above.

For the next area you’ll need to throw Cheshire on the white platforms so that you can proceed.

After using some green plants to go and jump to the next area you’ll see a barrier form and few enemies spawn. Use what you’ve learned in combat to fight them.

The next area is practically the same as the previous ones in terms of mechanics. Throw Cheshire to the white platforms, use bind to stop the plants and use Cheshire to finish them off.

Go through the next area and you’ll see a wacky section of the level where you try to stay on a rolling platform. Continue through the level afterwards and you’ll finish the area!

Congratulations you now know how to finish this level in Bayonetta Origins, now go out there and try it out yourself!
