There’s a new Bayonetta game out there and it’s one where the witch is a bit smaller than before. That’s right the game Bayonetta Origins is a prequel to the previous game and follows the protagonist as she was known as Cereza before.

The story plays as more of an origin story, thus the name, but it still has the great combat, 3D platforming, and puzzles that the previous game had. It also has some great stylized graphics that can make it feel dreamy at times.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to go through one of the Chapters in the game for those who might get stuck!

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon | Chapter 6: Fear and Frustration

The level starts off with these dangling plants that you can jump onto.

You’ll need to use Cheshire to grab onto those green plants to jump into one of them, it just takes a bit of timing as the plants wave back and forth.

Don’t forget to get the chest along the way also! It’s not that far off the path.

At one point an enemy appears just to remind you that this level has some. Once you fight that enemy go up the stairs above and use the swinging plants to get to the next area.

There you’ll find some claw marks on some of the trees, and Cereza will comment on it in a small cutscene.

You can then go to the right and use Cheshire to pound on the yellow flower to launch you to the next area to the upper left.

This area has a couple of plants on the way that can damage you so watch out!

Follow the path up and cross the vine bridge, watch out for the projectiles that shoot out at the side.

Past the vine bridge you’ll notice that you’re nearing another Tir Na Nog area, go through the path and you’ll find the Stomping Grounds Tir Na Nog.

In our guide on that specific Tir Na Nog, we go in-depth on how to go through it.

Once you’re done with that Tir Na Nog you can then go to the upper left where you’ll find a new Sanctuary.

You can rest here before continuing onward.

Follow the path to the upper right to continue and you’ll hear a monster’s roar as you go through the path.

Use Cheshire again to stomp on the yellow plant to launch you upwards to the next area.

The next area will be blocked with enemies so make sure to take out all the enemies first before continuing. While in the middle of a fight, a cutscene will play where you’ll hear the roar again and the enemies will run away.

Go up the path until a cutscene plays showing you what it was.

This is the boss of this area, a Jabberwock. It’s not really a boss fight since you can’t beat it as a cutscene will play shortly after and that would be the end of Chapter 6!

Congratulations you now know how to do one of the levels in Bayonetta: Origins, now go out there and try to beat the level yourself!
