Clash Royale is a spin off game to the ever popular Clash of Clans mobile game. Instead of the usual gameplay of Clash Royale, you will instead play a tower defense game with a Clash of Clans skin.
This game has been around since 2016, and it’s actually quite fun to play when you know what you’re doing.
The game is being updated regularly with new challenges and such, like then new Tavern Brawl.
Best Tavern Brawl Challenge Decks
Before we start, I would like to first state that this is of course opinionated. Not everyone is going to agree that these decks are good for Tavern Brawl but are all considered great by many other players in the community.
Majority of what people are looking for when creating a deck suitable for the Tavern Brawl challenge is great defense, as you will get pelted with enemy attacks almost all the time. Attack won’t really matter as long as you can survive the enemy attacks.
With that said, let’s take a look at the decks that you should try using in the Tavern Brawl challenge:
Double Elixir Loon Freeze
- Balloon
- Lumberjack
- Bowler
- Inferno Dragon
- Electro Dragon
- Freeze
- Tornado
- Barbarian Barrel
The Double Elixir Loon Freeze deck has amazing defense and versatility. It’s primarily good for keeping enemies at bay, but it can also deal a good amount of damage without having to sacrifice anything.
However, this deck is not free to play friendly. The deck consists of some purchasable cards. While they can be earned, they are still hard to obtain.
Golem Evo Barbs Pump
- Golem
- Lumberjack
- Electro Dragon
- Skeleton Dragons
- Elixir Collector
- Tornado
- Barbarian Barrel
The Golem Evo Barbs Pump deck is a considerable downgrade compared to the Double Elixir Loon Freeze deck, but it still has amazing defense and versatility. You will notice that the cards here aren’t great for dealing damage, which is okay.
The goal here is to stay alive until you can finish the challenge. The attack and synergy will definitely feel weaker, but as long as you’re alive, you can finish the challenge with this deck.
Mighty Miner Firecracker Hog
- Hog Rider
- Mighty Miner
- Firecracker
- Goblins
- Ice Spirit
- Bomb Tower
- Earthquake
- The Log
The Mighty Miner Firecracker Hog deck is considered to be the most balanced of all the decks on this list.
The Mighty Miner Firecracker Hog sports a great defense that can keep you alive in the challenge, all while dealing good damage that can end the challenge quicker.
It also has great synergy and versatility to boot. Plus, this is somewhat free to play friendly, as some of the cards are easily obtainable without having to spend money.
P.E.K.K.A Ghost Bridge
- Battle Ram
- P.E.K.K.A
- Royal Ghost
- Bandit
- Electro Wizard
- Magic Archer
- Poison
- Zap
Now, if you want something that can really deal damage, then you need to use the P.E.K.K.A Ghost Bridge deck.
This deck has the best attack and defense out of all of the decks on this list. Not only that, but it has great synergy and versatility as well.
But as you can guess, the cards on this deck are not free to play friendly, so while it does have major pros, it also has a major con.
Little Prince Goblin Giant Sparky Rage
- Goblin Giant
- Little Prince
- Sparky
- Mini P.E.K.K.A
- Knight
- Minions
- Rage
- Fireball
The Little Prince Goblin Giant Sparky Rage deck that has amazing defense and versatility. While the attack is comparable to the Double Elixir Loon Freeze deck, it does bolster great synergy, which helps boosts the cards on the deck.
Speaking of, the cards on the deck are also pretty bad for free to play players, but not as much as the Double Elixir Loon Freeze deck.
Little Prince Electro Giant Bowler
- Electro Giant
- Little Prince
- Bowler
- Archers
- Tombstone
- Lightning
- Tornado
- Barbarian Barrel
The last deck on this list is the Little Prince Electro Giant Bowler. Again, we’re looking at great defense here. Not only that, but it also has great versatility, as well as decent attack.
However, it does have mediocre synergy, so the bonuses won’t be as good. Not only that, it’s not also free to play friendly.
