Call of Duty DMZ now has a new update and with it comes a bunch of new stuff! From new equipment like the Secured Backpack to even a new mission group with the Redacted. The DMZ game mode of Call of Duty is still getting love after all this time. The developers are always working hard adding new interesting stuff in the game after all!
In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the missions for the new Redacted group. We’ll tackle the Cartel Investigation mission so bring a good gun and save a couple of spaces for the mission item. Let’s get started!
Cartel Investigation Guide (Where To Find Cartel & Large Contraband Packages) | COD DMZ
There’s a lot of interesting missions you can do in Call of Duty DMZ. You’ll need to do them if you want some extra XP in the game. There’s one mission you can do for the new Redacted group and that’s the Cartel Investigation. You’ll need to find the Cartel, kill some of their soldiers and find some contraband packages. So where do you find the Cartel anyway?
The Cartel can be found in the western parts of the map in Hafid Port. There you’ll just need to kill 5 Cartel Soldiers which isn’t that difficult. Once you’ve done so you’ll need to look for 2 Large Contraband Packages. They spawn all around the area so just look for them, you can use the image below for reference.
Once you’ve gotten 2 of those, you’ll need to extract with them to complete the mission. Like most missions in the game, you can do this in multiple raids, like killing cartel soldiers on one raid, and extracting the packages in another. Keep that in mind when doing this mission.
