Back in the day, multiplayer games almost always had options to play them alone with bots. Some games these days have that feature, but most multiplayer games either go without them or just make soloing possible. In Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, you can still play alone in a server with bots all while you’re inside a private match. Adding those bots is quite easy!

How to Add Bots to Private Match
When you set up a local game or a Private Match with friends, you can play with bots in the game. To do this, you’ll need to select the plus icon on either of the teams as shown below.

This will show a new window where you can add the amount of bots you’ll want and what their difficulty would be. Of course, the amount depends on the game mode so keep that in mind when adding bots.
Fighting bots is a great way to get some practice before a match or to get used to new guns you’ve unlocked. It’s also something you can just do for fun with friends and see how well you can fare against the higher-difficulty bots in the game.
