If there’s one thing that never gets old in video games it would definitely the desire to look good.

Even in ancient times, people made their wealth known by dressing differently from the huddled masses who think it was a crime to wear sandals with socks on.

The tradition continues in Conan Exiles as more gear become available to the player which also includes the Golden Stygian Raider armor but in gold!

If you ever gazed upon the game’s Journey System and came close to giving up then don’t worry, we’ll bypass all of that and give you what you need to know to get the Golden Stygian Raider Armor for yourself!

How To Get Golden Stygian Raider Armor | Conan Exiles

A variation of the regular Stygian Raider armor that can be unlocked by reaching level 30, but that’s just one of the many prerequisites to actually getting the armor in the Exiled Lands.

Things are a bit different if you wish to unlock the set on the Isle of Siptah however.

Apart from reaching level 30, here’s what you need to do in order to get the armor set in the Exiled Lands:

  • Trigger a purge.
  • Knock out a Purge Enemy with a Truncheon.
  • Complete the Purge.
  • Convert a Purge Thrall.

The Surge Defender Journey also gets you the same armor set if you’re in the Isle of Siptah, here’s what you need to do:

  • Discover a Leyshrine.
  • Unlock the Elder Constructions Knowledge
  • Enter the Maelstrom.
  • Gather ????
  • Summon a Surge.
  • Defeat a Surge Enemy.
  • Knock out a Surge Enemy.
  • Complete a Surge.
  • Convert a Surge Enemy.

Once you have completed either of these journeys, you can simply claim the reward from the same page by clicking on ‘Claim reward’ on the bottom right corner of your screen.

You can then spend knowledge points to learn the recipes for both regular and epic versions of the set after claiming the item.

Since the epic armor requires you to have the Exile Epicsknowledge you won’t be able to craft it until you hit level 60 so you will have to make do with the regular armor set first.

Now go and get the armor set for yourself and hope that Funcom adds in chariots next!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
