Aside from defeating bosses and enemies in Core Keeper, you will need to collect items, resources, and food to survive. Fishing is one of the best ways you can gather food and items in Core Keeper. This guide will show you how you can fish in game.
Fishing Guide – Core Keeper
Fishing is an activity in Core Keeper that you can do to gather fish and other items. You can cook the fish for food, which you will need for your journey.
To start fishing, you will need a Fishing Rod first. You can craft or find a Fishing Rod as a loot. Go to the underground and if you are lucky, you will get a fishing rod.
The Wood Fishing Rod has a 50 Durability.
To craft a Fishing Rod, go to the crafting station and click the Tin Tools option. You will need 5 Wood and 4 Tin Bars to craft the Tin Fishing Rod. To get Tin, you can go to the clay caves area.
To start fishing, go to a body of water and equip your Fishing Rod and cast your line.
When the bob dips into the water, click again and you will get a mini-game if it’s a fish. Reel in the fish if it is in its normal color and let go of the rod if it turns red. Do this until you reel the fish in all the way to the left side.
Do note that equipping a better fishing rod and increasing your Fishing Skill will make fishing easier.
