Crystal of Atlan – All Photo Spot Locations in Colossal Woods

There is much to explore and discover in the world of Crystal of Atlan. You have access to a bunch of key regions, each with their unique aesthetics, enemies and collectables. Getting all these collectables is a great way to progress your exploration quests – which can give you some useful rewards. We recommend going for these from time to time so that you can add some variety to your game experience. So, in this guide, we’ll show you where you can find all the photo spot locations for the Colossal Woods. With that said, let’s dive in!

All Photo Spot Locations in Colossal Woods

There are a total of 8 photo spots that can be found in the Colossal Woods. 2 of these photos can be found in the starting area while the other 6 are located in the Tree Heart Ruins.

By getting all the photo spots in the Colossal Woods, you get the Memories of the Jungle as your reward. You can check it out in the Exploration progress when you’re done.

When you are near a photo spot location, a message will pop up on screen along with a marker. Getting all photo spots can net you rewards while also increasing your exploration progress.

When taking photos, ensure that you’re taking them at the right angle and zoom level. We’ll show you both of them for all the photos in the guide below.

Colossal Woods Main Area Photo Spot Locations

Starting off, we’ll be heading to the main area of the Colossal Woods in Crystal of Atlan. Luckily, you will be able to find the two photo spots at the start, relatively close to each other.

We have marked the exact spots you want to head to so that you know where to go. Of course, we’ll show you how you can access these spots below as well.

Refer to the map if you do get confused about which area we are talking about.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #1

When you teleport to the Colossal Woods, you’ll arrive at a campsite with a bunch of NPCs. Go a bit ahead and look towards the left at a fallen log.

Approach the log and you will see the first photo spot. Interact with it and turn around to take a lovely picture of the camp.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #2

Exit the camp by heading to the Colossal Woods exploration area. The movement you arrive here, you’ll get the message for the next photo spot location.

Interact with it and take a picture of the fallen wreck in the distance.

Tree Heart Ruins Photo Spot Locations

Next, you’ll want to head to the Tree Heart Ruins in the Colossal Woods. You can do this easily using the World Map as walking there will take you some time.

You can find 6 photo spots in this area, relatively close to each other. Below is a map showing all the photo spot locations here, so you can refer to it if you get lost.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #3

When you just enter the Tree Heart Ruins, immediately turn around and go all the way to the back. Near the hologram, you should be able to find the photo spot.

Interact with it and take a picture of the hologram to add it to your collection.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #4

From there, enter the Tree Heart Ruins exploration area and start crossing the bridge. In the middle of the bridge, the photo spot will pop out.

Interact with it and make sure to take a picture of the bridge at the right angle. This photo can be a bit tricky and it is isn’t immediately clear what you’re supposed to take a picture of.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #5

Walk a few steps ahead from the previous photo spot towards the stairs and yet another photo spot will pop up. Interact with it and take a picture of the area you just left.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #6

Go up the elevator and walk up the first set of stairs you see. You’ll come across another photo spot where you can use your camera.

Use your camera to take a picture of the large broken staircase ahead.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #7

Go around to the teleport marker that you should be able to make out on your mini map. Next to the teleport, you should be able to spot another photo spot.

Use it to take a beautiful picture of the nearby ruins.

Colossal Woods Photo Spot Location #8

For the final picture, go up the broken staircase until you arrive at a river where there is a challenge marker. Near the shrine, you should be able to spot the final photo spot.

Interact with the photo spot and use the camera to a take picture of the shrine and river. With that, you will have successfully completed the Memories of the Jungle!

Luckily, the photo spots in this region are closer to each other compared to the other regions. So, you should be done with this exploration milestone relatively easier.
