Crystal of Atlan – All Treasure Chest Locations in Colossal Woods

Crystal of Atlan features quite a vast map with a range of areas to explore. There is a lot to explore in these areas which includes fighting difficult enemies, completing episodes and talking to NPCs. This can be a nice detour from the grinding and farming of the dungeons. One such location that has a lot to explore is the Colossal Woods – which has treasure chests you can find. In this guide, we’ll show you all the treasure chests locations of the Colossal Woods so that you can gather up some loot. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

All Treasure Chest Locations in Colossal Woods

There are a total of 10 treasure chests that you can find in the Colossal Woods area of Crystal of Atlan. 5 of these chests can be found in the main Colossal Woods area while the other 5 can be found at the Tree Heart Ruins.

Treasure Chests are useful as they provide you with loot – which includes gold, gear and materials. Getting all the treasure chests in Colossal Woods will also give you the Giant Poison Mushroom Sample Collection.

Colossal Woods Main Area Treasure Chest Locations

There are 5 treasure chests up for grabs in the starting Colossal Woods area of Crystal of Atlan. We have marked all the treasure chests on the map, so you have a general idea of where to look for them. Some of them are in tricky spots, so you might want to continue reading ahead.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #1

Starting off, we’ll be heading to the starting location of the Colossal Woods. Once you enter the exploration area, make your way ahead. Immediately on the right, you should notice some thorns blocking a path.

After jumping over the thorns, navigate ahead until you come across a campsite. The first treasure chest will be right next to it.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #2

Next, proceed through the Colossal Woods until you come across a small river. Follow the river to the end, and you’ll come across another set of thorns.

Jump over these thorns and immediately look back.

Looking towards the thorns, you should find a chest hidden next to them. Open it up to get the loot inside.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #3

As you deeper into the area, you will come across a narrow bridge made from a tree branch. After crossing the bridge, head towards the left where you’ll come across some Giant Bee enemies.

After killing the enemies, look in the corner and you’ll see a chest near some mushrooms.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #4

Eventually, you’ll come across some Cap Mushroom enemies that can be found in a cave within the trees. Near these Cap Mushrooms, you should be able to spot a treasure chest in a corner.

You can easily miss them if you do not look back after jumping from the ledges.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #5

As you go deeper into the caves, you’ll find yourself in a large cavern, which is where one of the challenge areas are. Look towards the top and you will see a small opening.

Your goal is to jump and climb to the top. You can do this by using the rock ledges that you see on the walls. At the top, you should find the fifth chest, ready to open.

Tree Heart Ruins Treasure Chest Locations

From there, you want to proceed to the Tree Heart Ruins. You can do this by walking there or teleporting there directly via the map. You can find the rest of the 5 treasure chests in this location.

Colossal Woods Treasure Chest Location #6

When you enter the main area of the Tree Heart Ruins, you’ll find yourself in a challenge area. Look towards the corner in the grass, and you should be able to find a treasure chest here.

This area is a bit dark and the chest can blend in with the background.

Proceed ahead from the challenge area and use the lift to go up. When you reach the top, look to the right and you’ll see an Ancient Guardian. The treasure chest will be right next to him.

Further ahead in the Tree Heart Ruins, you’ll find yourself in a large area full of water. Right where the challenge area is, look towards the left.

You should be able to spot a treasure chest in the corner.

From the challenge area, continue going forward until you come to a large square area. Towards the right side, you should see an Ancient Soldier looking over the edge.

The treasure chest will be right next to him. Loot it before he notices you.

For the final chest, proceed ahead from the teleport marker. After you’ve climbed the two set of stairs that follow after, look towards the left.

In the dark corner, you should find the last chest. This chest blends in with the dark very well, so you will need to look carefully. Opening this chest will help you get the Giant Poison Mushroom Sample – with the collection completed.
