Cuphead The Delicious Last Course is yet another DLC for Cuphead that will make you want to burn your house down. It offers everything that Cuphead is best at, especially the boss that we will be talking about in this guide – Doggone Dogfight. Let’s see how to beat him.

Doggone Dogfight Boss Fight Guide – Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC

This is a very difficult boss to defeat mainly because you are very limited in your movement. As you can see at the very beginning of the level you will be simply stuck on moving on your plane.

While on this plane you will need to dodge, evade, and at the same time keep doing damage and shooting at the boss. That is why it is very difficult.

Be wary of the white spinning things that will keep flying at you and over your head. Don’t forget to keep shooting up and at the boss. From time to time you’ll see yellow balls thrown at you that you’ll also need to dodge.

Every once in a while you’ll see the boss actually getting out of his plane and chasing after you. He can be throwing projectiles from the left or from the right. You will need to time this perfectly and dodge and evade these hits. He will be shooting at you slow-flying torpedos that are just a pain to dodge. You will have to shoot at them while they’re on your side.

After a while of shooting and dealing enough damage, his plane will crash and he’ll fall down into the background. Now you’ll be dealing with multiple flying enemies that will try to surround you from every side. They will be throwing letters at you that you’ll need to dodge.

You will need to shoot at the sides to catch them while they’re flying in that direction. You’ll need to wait and time it perfectly and actually kill all 4 of them to proceed with the level.

After you take them down you’ll get to the final Doggone boss finally. He will grab both sides of the camera and limit your way even more. Be wary of the lasers that he will keep shooting constantly at you. These can be from up, down, the sides, literally from everywhere.

To actually do damage to him, you will need to wait until he will make the camera upside down, or lean on the side. Now you will see the boss leaping out from the mouth and you’ll need to shoot her directly. Time all your power attacks and make a huge burst of damage while in these short seconds.

Then after this, the screen will be really upside down. You will have to do everything in the opposite direction now. PAINFUL! It is very frustrating so try to calm yourself as much as you can. Stay on the lookout for the lasers and just wait until the boss is out again so you can deal your burst of damage again.

This might happen a couple of times more. The key is to stay patient and don’t die. You might not deal a lot of damage at once, but if you do not get hit, you’ll eventually pass this level.

Then after a while of shooting, you’ll achieve a Knockout. Congratulations on finishing Doggone Dogfight, one of the most frustrating bosses ever!
