Cursed Arena: New Awakened Sukuna Moveset & Showcase

“Know your place, fool.”

Cursed Arena is a Roblox fighting game that is based off of the popular anime and manga franchise, Jujutsu Kaisen. In the game, you will be able to learn the martial arts fighting styles and powers of the popular characters in the anime. Itadori, Nanami, Gojo, and even Sukuna.

Just recently, Sukuna has received an update to his fighting style, one that gives him a brand new awakened moveset. In this guide, I will show you all of Sukuna’s awakened moveset and skills in the brand new update for Cursed Arena.

New Awakened Sukuna Moveset & Showcase

Sukuna is not exactly his own character, but just Itadori’s awakened state in the game. We already went through the different reworks that happened in the game, but we never took the time to go through Itadori’s, or Sukuna in this case, new awakened state and rework.

Reworked Awakened Animation

First off, the awakened animation to Sukuna has been reworked and given a bit more pizazz compared to the original. It looks even more menacing and a scary scene to witness if you are facing off against this character.

After awakening to Sukuna, the only changes made to the awakened moveset is that Scorchshot has been reworked to look more visually appealing, as well as the new M1 and forward dash attack animations and Domain Expansion.

Scorchshot

For Scorchshot, aside from new special effects, you will hear the sound clip of Sukuna saying “Fuga” in the anime before shooting the flaming arrow at an enemy. It’s a simple rework that didn’t need to be done, but is very appreciative to add more impact when using the skill.

Domain Expansion Rework

Up next are the reworks for the awakened state. First off is the new Domain Expansion rework for Sukuna. When you trigger Domain Expansion, it’s all over for your enemies.

Sukuna’s Domain Expansion is extremely overpowered. Once it starts, the only way to counter it is by also using your Domain Expansion to trigger a Domain Clash.

But if you didn’t, you will be slaughtered by Sukuna’s Domain Expansion as it will do an AoE attack that lasts for almost 15 seconds. The worst part about this is that the cooldown for the skill is 30 seconds and it starts once the Domain Expansion has been triggered.

That means that technically, it will only take 15 seconds for the Domain Expansion to be usable again, which is completely nuts.

M1 Attacks & Forward Dash

Lastly, we have the new M1 and forward dash attack animations reworked for Sukuna. Nothing too fancy to see from the rework, but you will notice that it does seem smoother and heavier compared to the original, as if trying to replicate the weight and impact Sukuna’s hits can make when fighting.

Dual Assault Rework

There’s no other reworks for the awakened moveset, but the Dual Assault skill and Black Flash for base Sukuna (Itadori) did also receive a rework. Same thing as Scorchshot, they just reworked the animation to make it smoother and added some sound effects to increase the impact of the skill.
