In the side mission, I walk the line, and a man is sitting in his underwear on a roof with nothing but a pigeon in hand. This is one of the most iconic scenes in Blade Runner. It is a classic Cyberpunk film. The quote that the scene references can be inscribed on a plaque in north oaks which says, “All these moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.”

After you let Jonny take over as V, he goes on a rampage in the Afterlife Club. One of the scenes shows this shady man in a trench coat offering Jonny a blue or red pill. This references The Matrix, some of Keanu’s acting, and John Wick mentioned above.

Surrounding the vehicles are bodies containing elements integral to the film characters like Furiosa and Immortan Joe. There is also a conversation between Charlize Fury and Dakota Smith talking about the girls being all pregnant. This is a reference from Mad Max: Fury Road.

The game features a half robot, half human. The man in the image above is a half-human, a half-cyborg who wears a don’s leather jacket and a shotgun. There is also one more easter egg found in the canals, which is a dead robot, a dead human, a motorcycle, and a tanker truck. This is a reference to Terminator 2.

Cyberpunk’s mission is called The Heisenberg Principle, which tasks V with destroying a glitter lab. Don’t stay too close to the equipment when you blow it up. Another Breaking Bad reference is extra-large pepperoni pizza that you can find on the roof. In the badlands, you can spot an RV being used for cooking up a blue drug.

In the side gig big in Japan, you are tasked with bringing a man from point A to point B. If you deliver the man alive, you will get greeted with a post-mission conversation. The man reveals himself to be a doctor with steady hands who accidentally murdered a mob boss.

The game has a unique reload animation that is the same reloading from John Wick. John Wick seems to be active in Cyberpunk 2077.

In a cave near the badlands, you can find a Rayfield Caliburn that becomes yours once you have entered it. This is the fastest car in the game, and the reference is from the movie Batman.

Outside of the game’s prison, you will meet a trio named Josh, Rick, and Brandon, who resemble Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles. This reference is from the Trailer Park Boys.

These were all the references in Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners. Follow the locations and interact with the new characters in the game.
