All Classes Guide | Playtest – Dark & Darker

There are a total of 6 classes that you are able to play as of right now. They are all very different from each other and each of them has a distinct and unique playstyle. Here we shall be discussing all of the classes individually as well as their Pros and Cons.

Fighter

You will be able to equip nearly every item of the game with the Fighter, including also Bows and Arrows as well. This is the fighter’s biggest strength. It is a very good class for sprinting as well as having very good gear to choose from.

  • Weapon Mastery
  • Sprint
  • Second Wind Heal
  • Gear Dependant

Wizard

The wizard is a class in which you can do a lot of things connected with spells and magic. You will be doing very big damage but will be very squishy and need some teammates to protect you. Also, the casting speed is something that needs the practice to be fully learned.

  • Slowest Interaction Speed
  • Powerful AoE Spells
  • Invis, Haste, Slow
  • User Skill Slot
  • 4 Compatible Weapons
  • Charge Up Timers

Ranger

If you do want to go for the range class you should pick a Ranger class. This class is very versatile and can hold its ground in almost every situation you come against. You can do lots of fast strikes as well as traps that can help you out a lot.

  • Can Wield 1 Handed Blades
  • Fast Interaction
  • Quick heals
  • Tracking
  • Bear Traps
  • Weak CQC

Barbarian

The most straightforward class in the game. You will be the bulk of your team and will be extremely slow while doing a lot of damage once you come up with enemies. Focus on the melee attacks and make sure that you can at least surprise enemies so that they cannot run away from you.

  • Slowest Moving
  • Slow Attacks
  • Highest HP
  • Powerful Attack Swings

Rogue

Rogues might be the hardest class to play in Dark and Darker. With that being said it doesn’t mean that it is weak. It is a very powerful class that has a very hard learning curve. Once you get used to using it though, you will be able to destroy almost every class in the game. Just remember- do not take battles that you cannot win! Time and choose your fights!

  • Invis & Smokes
  • DMG over time
  • Very Quick Attacks
  • Fast Moving
  • Quiet Steps
  • Free Lockpicks
  • Fast Interaction
  • 3 Compatible Weapons

Cleric

This is a crucial class to have if you are playing in a team. You will be able to play with the force of life in terms of reviving teammates, demons to fight alongside you, and so on. It is actually a very good class if placed against the undead.

  • Healing
  • Reviving
  • Anti Undead

That is everything that you need to know about all of the Classes so far in Dark & Darker. We hope that this guide has helped you out with becoming better at each of them. Have fun trying them out yourself!
