The Dark Shore area is a difficult area, which is why this farm is more suitable for the late game. However, you can start farming early on if you wish, especially if you want to farm XP and level up fast.

Dark Shore Farm Rewards
The Dark Shore area is suitable to get all sorts of great rewards, which includes:
- The Corpeso (Level 23) Weapon for Verso
- Farming Grandiose Chroma Catalysts
- Second highest tier of Chroma Catalysts allowing you to upgrade weapons till Level 32
- Tons of Level XP (up to 900,000 XP possible in one run).

Dark Shore Farm Preparation
Before you attempt to farm the Dark Shore, we recommend making certain preparations before farming. This is because the enemies are quite tough here, and you’ll want to maximize your damage and survival chances.
Starting off, you should bring along Light Damage weapons and avoid using Dark Damage weapons. This is because the Dark Shore enemies are weak to light damage, which will help deal extra damage. You should bring Light Damage weapons for all the party members.
Dark Damage weapons are basically useless against these enemies.
Besides that, we also recommend that you bring Shields along with something that gives you Shells. The extra defense can help you out – especially since you can actually stack shields.
Farming Strategy
The best way to get through this farm is to parry all attacks from the enemies. Successfully parrying an entire combo allows you to do a counter – which deals devastating damage to enemies.
This can be a challenge at the start, since you will need to get used to the timing to reliably parry them. But with some practice you will be able to get the hang of it.
While you can dash at certain points, we recommend that you do not dash. This is because we will be relying on massive counter damage. The enemies can also put chains on you, which will prevent you from dashing anyways sometimes.
Luckily, the Dark Shore enemies do not have many attacks. We’ll go through each attack combo so you can understand the parrying pattern:
- Strange Combo
- This combo consists of three attacks. The first two attacks are relatively quick with the third attack being delayed, when it summons the hand. So, you should delay your parry for this part.
- Dark Spear
- This consists of one attack that is delayed significantly. The trick here is to wait for the screen to go dark before you time the parry and perform a Gradient Counter.
- Dark Chroma (Lasers)
- The enemies will fire dark lasers three times at you one by one. To parry each laser, time it right when the laser touches you. Luckily, there is no significant delay for any attack.
- Bestial Combo
- This combo consists of three attacks. The first attack is significantly delayed which can throw most people off. When the enemy jumps, do not react. Instead, wait for the first attack to land. The other two attacks follow quickly and you can parry them much easily.
- Sometimes the enemy will deal a fourth really quick attack. So, be wary of it!
Another tip we recommend is focusing on a single enemy until they are eliminated. In this way, you will not have to deal with multiple of them at the same time.
Eliminate them one by one and you’ll also be able to do this farm faster. Now rinse and repeat until you have your desired rewards!
