Dave The Diver: Where to Find Tube Coral

Dave the Diver is a fun adventure game developed by Mintrocket. Players take control of Dave as he ventures into the ocean and solves quests, meets people, and runs a Sushi restaurant. The game successfully combines elements from management games with action-focused gameplay that pleases players. This guide will focus on where to find the Tube Coral.

Where to Find Tube Coral

1. Head inside Mima’s Restaurant and talk to her. Mima will ask for help in obtaining ingredients from the depths. The ingredient will be the Tube Coral.
2. Mima will inform Dave that the Coral can be found near Whale Bones, giving a hint as to where it can be found.
3. After talking to Mima, exit the restaurant and the village into the Giant Blue Hole region.
4. Once in the region, head towards the left and go through the small opening.
5. After going through the opening, swim upwards to get to the new area.
6. Keep swimming upwards, and you will spot a narrow opening once again and go through that.
7. As you swim upwards, you will reach an intersection with two paths.
8. Take the upwards path, and eventually, you will emerge near the Whale Bones.
9. The first two Tube Corals will be near the point you emerged from and can be identified with the Light Blue diamond-shaped marker on them.
10. For the last one, swim upwards, and you will spot the marker indicating the Tube Coral.
11. Using the same path, head back to the Sea People Village and enter Mima’s Restaurant.
12. Talk to Mima to complete the quest and gain reputation and currency awards.

Detailed Guide

The quest to find the Tube Coral can be obtained from Mima’s Restaurant and is part of Chapter 3 of the game. The goal is to help the Sea People to gain reputation points so that they can trust humans. Once inside the village, swim towards the right, and you should spot an exclamation mark outside the restaurant. Head inside and talk to Mima, who will explain that she needs Tube Coral to feed the customers.

Additionally, Mima will tell Dave that the Tube Coral can be found near Whale Bones to help narrow down the search. 

Once the quest is activated, leave the restaurant and proceed to leave the village to enter into the Giant Blue Hole zone.

From the entrance, swim towards the left and go through the small opening. Make sure that you are stocked up on ammo since there might be dangerous fish along the path that may attack you. 

After swimming through the opening, swim upwards through the opening to enter another underground cave system.

Keep swimming upwards, and you should spot another narrow opening that has a path shaped like steps. 

As you swim upwards, you will eventually reach an intersection where one path goes upwards and the other downwards. Take the upwards path since the goal is to reduce depth.

As you swim upwards, you will emerge into another system where you should immediately notice the Whale Bones on the floor, indicating that this is the correct location. The Tube Coral will be marked with a Light Blue diamond-shaped waypoint for players to identify it easily. The first two are right next to the point from where you emerged.

Finding the last Tube Coral is slightly tricky since it is at a lower depth. Simply swim upwards, and you should spot the marker indicating the coral. Pick it up, and you should have three Tube corals in your inventory. 

Each coral piece weighs 0.6 kilograms, so keep an eye on your weight limit since, if exceeded, Dave will move slowly, which might result in the player losing due to lack of Oxygen. After picking the Corals, take the same path back to the Sea People Village and return to Mima’s Restaurant. Talk to her, and she will be delighted to feed the customers again. The quest will be completed, and the players will be rewarded with 20 Bei and 20 Credit.
