DayZ: How To Raid Bases Guide

DayZ is a game meant for survival. You do anything you can to survive in a hash world where zombies attack anyone on sight.

Surviving alone is hard, which is why your group up with other people and set up a base where you can rest. Your very own sanctuary from the harsh world outside.

However, there are also other people that have banded together in order to steal from those who are doing good. That’s where you come in. In this guide, we will be showing you how to raid bases and destroy all their hard work.

How To Raid Bases Guide – DayZ

There are a lot of ways to raid a base, and a lot of them will certainly take time.

It all depends on how long you are willing to wait. Can you wait from 30 minutes to an hour? Maybe even an hour and 30 minutes? Or are you impatient and would rather just bomb the whole place?

Different methods will have different durations.

#1 Bombs!

One of the most popular methods is, of course, bombing the place. Whether it’s grenades, grenade launcher, rocket launchers, claymores, C4s, and more, explosives are the go-to for most players as it eliminates the waiting portion of raiding a base.

Instead, you will just blow up the entrance and start shooting whoever you see (don’t shoot your teammates).

#2 Stealth

If you are not the type to be going in gun-ho and shooting anything that moves, then there is the option to be sneaky.

This involves finding openings in the base and picking locks to sneak in. This is a favorite among the community, and some would consider it much easier to do compared to just blowing everything up.

#3 Guns

If you do plan on being a gun-ho kind of player, be sure to bring in everything you have.

Bases can either be built with wood or metal. Metal is very obviously stronger to break down compared to wood. On average, you can take down a wooden wall with 350+ rounds of an AKM. But for metal walls, you will need 450+ rounds.

The decision is entirely up to you on how you should approach and raid bases. It is entirely all about personal preferences when it comes to these types of things (but I would advise the sneaky way to avoid having to deal with large groups ).
