Dead Cells is a top-tier game that’s been around for a while now, and the game is still going strong. Recently, it just released a DLC that collaborates with Konami with their Castlevania IP. And while it’s sad that this is the closest thing we’ll ever get to anything playable about Castlevania, it’s still a pretty fun time when you give this game a try.
In the game, there are three colors that need different weapons to kill them. In this list, we will give you the top 3 weapons for each color, as well as some great alternatives.
Top 3 Weapons For Each Color – Dead Cells
In Dead Cells, there are 3 colors that have different names: Brutality (red), Tactics (purple), and Survival (green). Attacking enemies with the correct color will do more damage than attacking a Tactics enemy with a Survival weapon.
Here, we will show you a list of weapons that are perfect for each color, as well as great alternatives:
Brutality
- Panchaku – Has a base DPS of 121 and can do 185 when critical. You can do critical hits if the enemy is facing you.
- Rapier – Has a base DPS of 156 but can do a whopping 356 if you do critical hits. Critical hits can be achieved if you attack immediately after rolling or parrying.
- Alucard’s Sword – Has a base DPS of 101 but can do 222 if you do critical hits. Critical hits can be done when you teleport to an enemy and attack.
Alternatives
- King Scepter – Has a base DPS of 75, but can do 150 when you inflict critical hits. When you charge forward and hit a target, you will bounce into the air spinning. When you bounce on an enemy, you deal critical damage and you can charge again.
- Snake Fangs – Has a base DPS of 94, but can do 150 when you crit. The Snake Fangs, much like Alucard’s sword, will teleport you to the nearest target. When you hit an enemy with Poison 5 times, you will be able to inflict critical damage.
- Valmont’s Whip – Has a base DPS of 109, but can do 305 when critical. This weapon ignores shields and can inflict a critical hit each time the tip of the whip strikes an enemy.
Tactics
- Electric Whip – Has a base DPS of 112, but can reach up to 201 when you hit enemies with critical hits. This whip ignores shields and can inflict 50% of the base damage on nearby enemies. It can also inflict critical damage if enemies are standing on liquid pools.
- Magic Missiles – Has a base DPS of 164 but unfortunately cannot do critical damage. It can, however, automatically lock on to the closest enemy.
- Sonic Carbine – Has a base DPS of 227, and it can even go further than that by going up to 445 if you inflict critical damage. The Sonic Carbine can fire through enemies and can keep shooting when you hold the button down. It can inflict critical hits when you hit the enemies behind the first enemy.
Alternatives
- Explosive Crossbow – Has a base DPS of 143 for its primary fire, and its alternative fire can do 55. When hitting critical attacks, the primary fire can reach up to 243 and its alternative fire can do 191. The Explosive Crossbow can shoot explosive bolts in an area and deal damage when it explodes. If the enemy is hit by the bolt itself, it will deal critical damage.
- Gilded Yumi – Has a base DPS of 69, but can do 208 when hit with a critical hit. The Gilded Yumi bow can fire large arrows that push enemies. If an enemy is pushed into another enemy or into a wall, it will inflict critical damage.
- War Javelin – Has a base DPS of 110 and it, unfortunately, does not have critical damage. It can, however, impale all enemies in its path. If they are standing near a wall, any enemy that gets impaled to the wall will receive an extra 90 damage.
Survival
- Death’s Scythe – Has a base DPS of 158 but it does not have specific critical damage. Its critical damage is randomized and can only be done if you kill enemies and reanimate them as ghosts. Those ghosts, when exploding near enemies, can do critical damage.
- Baseball Bat – Has a base DPS of 156 but can do up to 476 critical damage. To do critical damage, you will need to attack a stunned or rooted enemy.
- Gold Digger – Has a base DPS of 118 but can do critical damage of 206. To do critical damage, you will need to have 12000 gold.
Alternative
- Maw of the Deep – Has a base DPS of 158, but can do 270 critical damage. To do critical damage, you will need to attack enemies while they are rooted.
- The Boy’s Axe – Has a base DPS of 159 but no critical damage. However, this weapon can root the victims and do 80 additional damage when returning.
- Oven Axe – Has a base DPS of 215 but can do 273 critical damage. To get the critical hit, you will need to repeat the last hit combo.
