The moment you get to Venice Beach in Dead Island 2, you’ll eventually come across the Blue Crab Restaurant where Trent and his stoner buddies are holding out in. They’ll tell you about the gunshots they heard the previous night that was emanating from the nearby police station, so you already know where this is going.

It sounds like a simple enough plan, break into the police station and get eaten by zombies. High-risk high-reward and all that, but there’s more to this place than just guns. Read the guide and find out how you can bust through magnetic locks in Cold Pork!

Cold Pork Guide | Dead Island 2

The police station isn’t really that difficult to find as it’s the only station within the vicinity of Venice Beach.

You do need to stay on your toes as the short trek going there is going to be riddled with zombies, Crushers and Bursters included. Throw in some runners into the mix as well because why not?

Once you get inside the station you’ll be greeted by your first magnetic lock.

You’ll have to shoot a few panels to get through, the first one is right behind the reception desk and the second one is in the bathroom to your right. It’s occupied at the moment so get rid of the guy using it with a swing or two.

Now you can access the office spaces, go through the corridor, and go through the left door to get inside the room where you shot the security panel.

The Police Dept. Keycard can be found on the notice board to your right, and the keys for Jail Cell 02 to your left.

Head into the munitions cell of the police station by using your new keycard, another walker will be in this room as well, do what needs to be done and collect the Secure Storage Room key by the desk when you’re done.

Inside the storage room will be a SPAS-12 hiding under the guise of a rare Assault Shotgun, interact with the other Metal Lockers in the room, and head back to the Crab boys to finish the mission.

The items inside of the police station respawn from time to time, so check back in whenever you get the chance if you’re light on ammo!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
