After you save Curtis from the zombies trying to forcefully inherit his mansion, he’ll give you the go signal to loot the place dry of all his belongings. His annoying nephew is too dead to care, and they didn’t really get along well with each other so it’s you who gets the keys instead.

However, his old age must’ve gotten the better of his memory as he forgot to tell you about his valuables safe in his wine cellar. No, you don’t get it once you finish “The Death of the Party”, it just stays locked, but in this guide, you’ll be able to find the location of Curtis’ safe key without any problems so let’s get started.

Curtis Safe Key Location | Dead Island 2

You’ll have to come back to his mansion after you visit Beverly Hills and finish the story mission “Justifiable Zombicide.”

After that, you can come back to Bel-Air at your earliest convenience and find his lawyer that has the key, no lock picking required!

To get the key to the safe you need to head out to the backyard and move into the guest house to the right.

Crystal the Lawyer will be there waiting for you so take her out as soon as you can as she still counts as a Screamer. Unless you like fighting endless hordes of zombies it’s best to put a cap in her to get the keys to the safe back at the wine cellar.

And that’s the location of Curtis’ safe key, now move back into the house and open the safe to get yourself a shiny new Tactical Heavy Revolver.

You might want to hold on to it for a while if you don’t meet the level requirements for it, or if you enjoy a little bit of insanity you can sell it to get yourself a fuse from Carlos!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
