You gotta love Venice Beach. Vibrant atmosphere, laidback community, an abundance of the color red along with some lockboxes, it definitely has it all! However, there’s only one person in this area that has all the keys to the Officer’s Secure Lockbox you stumbled upon earlier at the police station! Where could he be?

Well one thing’s for sure, you no longer have to backpedal your way here later just to have it opened, unlike most of the other cases you can find in Dead Island 2. So let’s show your target what it truly means to protect and serve in this lockbox key location guide!

Officer’s Lockbox Key Location

To find the officer responsible for inconveniencing you with the locked box he left behind, you need to have already finished the side quest “Cold Pork” where you have to loot the Venice Beach Police station for the greater good.

After you finish that quest, you can immediately come back to start hunting down the officer nearby. If they don’t appear then you can always reload the area by travelling elsewhere. If the special zombie does appear, he’ll be located southwest of the Venice Beach Police Station. You’ll find him near the parked armored car without any shoes on.

Dead Island 2 Officer Mckenzie Location

For this heinous misbehavior, give Officer Mckenzie a good beatdown and he’ll eventually comply and give you the keys to the Secure Lockbox back at the station. Go to the southeastern door if you don’t want to go through the entire station just to get to the storage room.

What you’ll get from the lockbox is a Puncturator Nightstick, not as good as the Destructive Heavy Revolver you can get from Lt. Land’s case but having a backup melee weapon is always nice. Now go and loot everything else from the station, the loot respawns from time to time you know.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
