Special zombies in Dead Island 2 are pretty weird. You have the Crushers, which are big zombies that were once bodybuilders. Then we have Screamers, which are essentially Banshees in zombified form. But then we also have the “special” special zombies, like Luigi Jr. and Nick the Usher.
These special zombies are because they contain a key that helps you open a locked safe or a chest that contains a lot of good loot. In this guide, we will be showing you how to open the Serling Reception Safe with the Serling Reception Key.
How to Unlock Serling Reception Safe – Dead Island 2
Serling Reception Key Location
The key to open the Serling Reception Safe can be found at the Serling Hotel on the second floor.
The Serling Concierge zombie can be found wandering in that area, but she will most likely be found here as shown in the image above.
If she is there, then you can simply shoot the barrels and let the fire and explosion deal with the zombie. Once the Serling Concierge is dead, simply go down and get the key.
Serling Reception Safe Location
The Serling Reception Safe can be found behind the reception desk. The desk itself can be found next to the fast travel point.
