Doing quests for the local superstars isn’t the only way to get yourself some new weapons, you also have the Lost & Found side missions where you basically go on treasure hunts across the cesspit that’s HELL-A. It’s rather simple, all you have to do is find bits and pieces of clues scattered around the neighborhood until you get to your destination.

Okay maybe it isn’t that simple, but it will be if you stick around and read what the guide has to say. We’ll skim over the words and hints and lead you right into the honey pot of The Clean and the Snatch!

The Clean and the Snatch Guide | Dead Island 2

Spoiler alert, this quest gets you a legendary sword at the end, which is perfect if you’re crazy enough to play as Bruno. Other Lost & found quests also require you to find a missing (dead) person carrying loot you’re going to want to have.

Here’s what you need to do to breeze through The Clean and the Snatch.

The starting point is at Roxanne’s crash pad, head to the backyard and get the note that’s sitting on top of the chest in the pool. The rewards are in that very chest, but you’ll have to hop and skip around a few times before you actually get to open it.

Read the notes you stumble upon and pay attention to the words highlighted in red, those are the magic words that you need to keep in mind whenever you’re doing Lost & Found quests as they will lead you to your next clue.

The first one is at Farouk’s house, if you don’t know him then you’ll definitely love his boyfriend Dave. It’s right next to Rikky’s house so you might as well grab his tapes while you’re looting the rest of the place.

Your next destination will lead you to an emptied-out pool, you should see a note left for Michael at the end of it.

The next clue can be found by collecting Obi’s phone, go south of the last pool you just visited and you can find it at the end next to a corpse. Careful though, there’s a Crusher nearby so get ready for a fight.

Now you have to go back to the Goat Pen house in Bel-Air, this is the only place that has a pool with a pizza-shaped floater in it.

Obi the Pool Guy will be waiting for you here so show the guy what a good time means and get the keys from his undead dead corpse.

Take the key back to Roxanne’s pool to receive a huge chunk of XP and the Officer’s Sword. The stats scale depends on your level so make sure to unlock it for later if you don’t want it yet!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
