Deadlock – How To Change Server Region

Use this trick to skip server curfew!

Since Deadlock is currently in its playtest stage, all the servers have set times during which you can play the game. This can be frustrating for players who are unable to play the game at any other time. Besides that, some players may find that the default server chosen for them does not suit them.

Whatever the case may be, you might want to change your server region. So, in this guide, we’ll be showing you how to do exactly that. Without further delay, let’s dive in!

How To Change Server Region

To change your server region in Deadlock, start by going to the main menu of the game. Once you’re here, press the F7 key on your keyboard.

This will open the Console on the right side of your screen. The Console menu will look quite complicated but all you need to do is focus on the text box.

Over here, you can type in a command and enter it that will allow you to change to one of 5 server regions currently available in the game. Here are the commands in Deadlock that you can choose from:

  • citadel_region_override 0
    • Changes server region to NA
  • citadel_region_override 1
    • Changes server region to Europe
  • citadel_region_override 2
    • Changes server region to Asia
  • citadel_region_override 3
    • Changes server region to South America
  • citadel_region_override 5
    • Change server region to Oceania
  • citadel_region_override -1
    • Changes server region automatically to the best one.

Each server has its own curfew time till which you can engage in matchmaking. So, if you’re trying to avoid curfews, you can change the server and see the time there as well alongside the server.

Remember though, that if the server is far away, then you might have higher ping which will impact your playing experience.
