Delta Force has finally been released and it is doing pretty well for itself as a free alternative to titans like the Battlefield franchise. There are many ways to modify your experience, including changing around your weapons’ attachments and calibrating various features that they have. In this guide, we will be sharing one way to set up your SG552 to give you the edge in battle!
Best SG552 Loadout
The SG552 assault rifle is surprisingly good for both short and even mid range engagements due to its relatively high effective range and rate of fire. By fine tuning this weapon, you can make it a total beast in close quarters combat while still being able to accurately hit targets further away.
Here are the attachments to use with this weapon in order to destroy your enemies with ease, especially at closer ranges:
- Barrel – SG552 Knight Heavy Barrel: This gives the gun some decent control and pump up its effective range by a decent amount.
- Muzzle – Bastion Horizontal Compensator: This addresses your horizontal recoil issues and makes the gun much more precise than it normally is. Your screen will very visibly shake less while firing.
- Magazine – SG552 45-Round Extended Mag: This will allow you to fire even longer bursts if needed, and the drawbacks for using this are cancelled out by other attachments.
- Mag Mount – Badger Small Mag Assist: It will add slightly more handling to somewhat address the disadvantages of the extended mag.
- Foregrip – Angled Hand Stop: This further fixes the negative effect that your extended mag has on the gun’s handling. The K1 Elite Bevel Foregrip can be an option too, if you prefer to have better control instead.
- Rear Grip – AR Heavy Tower Grip: It will add a +1 to both your control and handling, and it lets you attach either a Balanced Grip Base or Stable Grip Base as well. The latter is better for stability and control, but the former is better if you don’t want to lower its handling stat too much.
- Stock – UR Spec Ops Tactical Stock/416 Stable Stock: These two choices will have varying hits on your handling, but they both provide excellent control and stability to your weapon, so pick whichever you think you will benefit from more.
- Rails & Patches – Attach Ranger Handguards for all of these slots in order to maximize the amount of control you have over the weapon.
As for calibrations, you will want to further improve the gun’s control as much as we can. To do that, you can try the following calibrations:
- Rear Grip – Maximum weight limit and thickness for extra control and stability while moving, since you are going to be moving a lot with this gun.
- Fore Grip – Same as above, as it will further add even more of the same bonuses. Your ADS movement speed will take a hit here, so if you prefer to have it lower, keep the weight limit low.
- Stock – This will vary, but ideally, you want more control. As usual, increase the weight limit to add even more control, and do not worry about the drawbacks as it will usually be a stat that will not affect you. (e.g. aiming stability while breathing)
- Barrel – Set your weight limit and length to max for improved stability. You will take an ADS speed hit here, but it is not too significant.
And that should be all you need to do in order to make this gun a terrifying monster in close and mid range combat. As long as you can aim and control vertical recoil, you will be melting enemies left and right with this thing.
