Maui is a pretty big guy, but he also has a soft heart underneath all that hard-muscled exterior. Which is why it’s such a wholesome moment when Maui tasks you with helping him have kites fly over the village at all times. Imagine a big guy like Maui, asking you for help to get kites flying over the village. As the good friend that you are, of course you help. But what do you need to do next? In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Demigod Of The Wind And Sun quest.

Speak to Maui, who will give you the quest. He will ask you to help him get kites flying all over the village. To do so, you will need to craft 3 Kites and deliver it to 3 villagers.
To craft 3 Kites, you will need 18 Softwood, 30 Fiber, and 3 Dark Ink. Once you have all of the required materials, head to a Crafting Station and craft the 3 Kites. After you have the Kites ready, show them to Maui, and he will be a happy guy.
He will then tell you to deliver a kite to three villagers: Goofy, Merlin, and WALL-E. You can find where they are on the map to make it easier to locate them. Track them down and hand one to each of the villagers. Go back to Maui again and he will thank you afterwards. He will then ask you to follow him so he can show you something at the location of the missing island.
Once you get to the location, Maui will then tell you that where you are is where the island used to be. He will then tell you that you can find something at the bottom of the ocean, meaning that you will have to fish for it. After the conversation with Maui, bring out your Fishing Rod and fish until you get a Limestone.
To fish for the Limestone, you need to find a red circle in the water. The red circle in the water is usually reserved for important items in quests. Cast your line and fish until you get the Limestone. After getting the Limestone, show it to Maui and the quest will end after the dialogue.
