Destiny 2: All 6 Steps Stargazer Guide

Destiny 2 is no doubt full of very repetitiveness that is disguised by calling them new quests and content, but is anyone really complaining when you can tote around a Legendary LMG that never has to reload because you got God Roll stats on it with the required mods?

Not to mention the amazingly beautiful-looking gear that you can use to customize the look of your Guardian. At the end of the day, Destiny 2 is a live service game that you will grind hours upon hours for.

With that said, here is how to complete the Stargazer quest.

Step 1

When you get the quest, your first step is to loot the chest in the Terminal Overload Public Event.

You will need to go to Neomuna in the Directory and select the diamond icon on the map. This step is simple, as you only really need to complete the Public Event and loot the chest at the end.

Steps 2 – 3

After looting the chest in Terminal Overload, you will get the second step.

Step 2 requires you to defeat the Vex Hydra in Esi Terminal in order to acquire a high-security passcode.

Open your Directory and you will see the quest for Stargazer on the map. Simply approach the blue quest marker and you will start the quest.

Step 4

Before you do Step 4, you will need to complete the Lightfall campaign. Step 4 cannot be completed until you do so.

Once you do, you will first need to get the Terminal Overload Key Bounty and Terminal Rewards Bounty from Nimbus.

These two are important for when you complete the next step, so make sure to grab them.

Once you have the two bounties, open your Directory and go to the Terminal Overload Public Event.

This time, you will need to complete the Public Event 3 times in order to complete the bounty.

After you have completed the bounty, you should have the Terminal Overload Key now. Play through it once and open the chest at the end of the activity with the Terminal Overload Key.

Step 5

Step 5 will require you to visit the Hall of Heroes to repair the Stargazer’s memorial. This will be quick and easy to complete. 

Step 6

Speak to Quinn, the city archivist, for the final step.

This will complete the questline and you will get your reward.
