Roll, Slide, Jump, Glide, and do everything that is necessary to beat your opponents in Destiny 2. Every little thing that helps is a huge boost. In this guide, we will talk about side arms, and especially about the new Forgiveness that was added. Is it any good?! Let’s find out.

Forgiveness Side Arm Guide | God Roll – Destiny 2

Some people are arguing against any side arms in Destiny, and with a right. But when comes to the Forgiveness side arm, well—you are in for a real treat. This is the newest addition to Destiny 2 and it really offers a whole lot.

You can get it from an Ingrim or at the Prestigious Lighthouse if it happens to be a rotation in the map pool. There is always a chance for this gun to be found like a random drop if you’re lucky.

The Forgiveness gun comes as a really handy weapon that can get you out of most problems. You can deal tons of damage from mid to shortrange, basically coming to something between a shotgun and a mid-range weapon.

It offers and has a big magazine which means you won’t need to panic if it comes to a havoc situation with jumping around the area. Side arms also got a buff in the recent couple of patches making them even stronger than before.

What makes side-arms very powerful are TTK(time to kill) and Range. Forgiveness offers 325 rounds per minute hard-hitting machine.

The Range comes at a perfect position between short and long. It can hit even from a distance, but if fighting at a reasonable distance from your enemy, it can pack a punch.

The hitbox is absolutely amazing. You won’t find yourself at a problem with hitting your targets. It is extremely fun to use because it’s so smooth and comes perfectly in any situation you might find yourself in.

The critical shots are absolute heaven to see. Because you’ll be dealing at closer distances from your targets, you will have a whole magazine of 24 rounds to get a headshot. You can almost say spray and pray is a variable tactic with the Forgiveness.

When you are up in the air and shooting down upon the enemy, Forgiveness seems like it is more accurate than when standing on the ground. It might be not true, but players have been noticing this too.

  • Arrowhead Break – very good for recoil and flinch(recovery)
  • Richochet Rounds –
  • Accurized – good for range and stability
  • Killing Wind – a must when it comes to perks boosts range and mobility when it comes to the final blow
  • Fragile Focus – bonus to range
  • Range Masterwork

When it comes to conclusion, go ahead and invest your time, as long as it takes, to get this beautiful sidearm. Forgiveness is something that will really better your k/d ratio.
