Destiny 2 releases a new event alongside some sweet new mech themed armor for your Guardians (Transformers and Gundam fans rejoice!) Aside from the awesome armor for your Guardians, we also have the Festival of the Lost event. According to the lore of Destiny 2, Festival of the Lost is a celebration of the dead. Which makes sense as to why it coincides with Halloween every year. If you want to complete the Festival of the Lost event, then you have come to the right place as we will show you how to do just that and more.
How To Complete Festival Of The Lost Event Card & Challenges – Destiny 2
Before you do anything for the Festival of the Lost, you need to get yourself a mask. You can get it from Eva Levante, whom you can find at the Tower. At the bottom row, you can find four masks. Each mask has their own element. Pick one, or all of them, as it will save you the time of having to go back to get a new one.
Moving on to the “currency” of the event, you have Candy, Spectral Pages, and Manifested Pages. You cannot get these if you do not have a mask equipped, so you have to be wearing one at all times if you want to get these.
The Candy currency can be acquired if you simply defeat combatants. Doesn’t matter if they are Cabal, Vex, or Fallen. As long as they are shooting at you, you can get Candy from them. For Spectral Pages, you can get them by playing through modes like Crucible, Vanguard, or Gambit.
To get Manifested Pages, you need to play through the Haunted Sectors Playlist. Bear in mind that you cannot get any Manifested Pages if you do not have any Spectral Pages. The reason for that is because the Spectral Pages turn into Manifested Pages after playing through the Haunted Sectors Playlist.
Now that we know how to utilize the currency of the event, we move on to the how to complete the Festival of the Lost Event Card. When you open the event card, you will see this on your screen. For the first event challenge, you will have to use a Manifested Page to restore a chapter in Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 2.
So once you have your Manifested Page, go to the Tower and you should find this stand in the center of the Tower.
When you have this screen open, go to the Shrouded Pages and use your Manifested Pages to acquire them. After that, you should have one of the pages for Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 2.

- Candy Corner – Earn Candy from activities. (Acquire 17,500 Candy)
- Mystery Meet – Purchase Epic Mystery Grab Bags from Eva.
- Sniperstition – Defeat combatants with Sniper Rifles.
- Automatic Transmission – Defeat combatants with Auto Rifles.
- Third Shot’s A Charm – Defeat combatants with Pulse Rifles.
- Shocking Conclusion – Defeat combatants with Arc energy.
- Occult Ritual – Complete ritual activities, including Strikes, Crucible matches, and Gambit matches.
- Strike the Deck – Complete Vanguard Ops or Ketchcrash activities.
- Masked Bandit – Complete Crucible or Gambit matches while wearing a Festival mask.
- Happy Haunting Ground – Complete activities in the Haunted Sector playlist.
- Ghost Writer – Complete Event Challenges during the Festival of the Lost. Progress resets at the end of the event.
