Destiny 2 has a huge amount of weapons of your choosing. Which one is the best? No one can truly say because all of them have their positives and negatives. In today’s guide, we will be taking a look at the Firefright and seeing if it’s any good.

How To Get Firefright Legendary Auto Rifle Plus God Roll Guide – Destiny 2

Firefright is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with a Precision frame meaning that the weapons recoil pattern is much predictably vertical. As you can see from the stats it’s looking like a pretty decent weapon to use in almost all the situations you might find yourself in.

  • Impact – 29
  • Range – 58
  • Stability – 41
  • Handling – 41
  • Reload Speed – 44
  • 450 Rounds Per Minute
  • 34 rounds per Magazine

Overall it is a great auto rifle with a decent purple as well. It certainly not reaching the heights of Crate or maybe even Funnel Web. Also in PvP, it will also struggle against other guns and fire rates, however, in PvE, it is a different situation. It is a rifle that is very competitive when compared to other rifles for this section.

It is good and useful but always stay on the lookout if someday if we’re lucky, these rifles will get a big buff and might be put into the top tier levels. I mean the name of this gun is absolutely awesome! It is a shame that it doesn’t reach that far with anything else.

If you are going for PvE situations, which you should with this one, you should be choosing and using one of these perks:

  • Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases the range and the stability, while also increasing the handling speed too.
  • Lightmag – This one increases the reload speed and the overall range that this rifle can reach.
  • Fourth Time’s the Charm – It rapidly increases the precision hits and will return with 2 rounds to the magazine.
  • Focus Fury – Dealing half of the magazine as precision damage. This makes it so that it will be dealing a sort of bonus damage to your enemies. This shot count is reset whenever the gun is reloaded or stowed.

Now we come to the PvP. Although it lacks power for these situations it doesn’t mean it’s out of play. This is what you should be sticking with when playing:

  • Hammer Forge Rifling – This will increase the overall range.
  • Ricochet Rounds – This will increase the stability of the gun while also slightly increasing the range.
  • Fragile Focus – This weapon gains a bonus range until the wielder takes damage and the bonus returns when there is no damage taken for a short duration.
  • Elemental Capacitor – You increase these overall stats while equipped with the current subclass: Solar – increases the reload speed, Arc – increases the handling, Void – increases stability, and Stasis – moderately controls recoil and increases movement speed when aiming down the sights.

How To Get the Legendary Auto Rifle

For to be able to get the Firefright rifle you will have to already have the Season of the Haunted because this rifle is a seasonal weapon.

You can get it to drop from the Nightmare Containment Activity, that’s got a chance to drop at the end. So make sure that you have enough of the stages of dread to get that extra loot from the activity because you will also have to look for the glowing red thing behind the actual chest.

And of course, you can get this weapon by crafting it from the Enclave on Mars but you’ll have to craft 5 deep sight versions of the weapon.

That should be it! I hope this guide will have helped you to create this weapon so you can give it a try yourself. Have fun!
