Devas of Creation: Best Faction Guide (Which Faction is the Best?)

With the recent release of Devas of Creation, tons of Roblox players are flooding the servers to see what all the fuss is about. It is basically an MMORPG that is clearly inspired by games like New World, as seen in its weapon swapping system, life skills, attributes, and even the same number of factions. On that note, let us talk about which faction is the best and which to avoid!

Best Faction Guide (Which Faction is the Best?)

At the moment, there are three different factions, each favoring one of the gods in the world of Devas of Creation. Although you might think that this is a purely cosmetic choice, there are actually benefits to joining them.

Basically, there are rewards to be earned from defeating opposing faction members. You can also have certain passive perks, assuming your faction wins the current “event”. While you may think this is based on personal preference, there are server wide implications on the line.

Before we can get to which faction is the best, let us first take a quick look at what each of them offers their members. They are very different from one another!

NOTE: I will not be talking about the Olympic Abilities as there is no way for me to test all of them without hopping around and doing a lot of PVP. Resurrect seems like something I’d want over the other two though.

Faction #1 – Nelde

Nelde, as of writing this, is the current leading faction and for good reason. Their passive bonuses are, at least from a quick glance, seem to be the most desirable of the bunch. Of course, that’s just my opinion, so let’s get to what they actually do.

First is Dark Pact. As your health decreases, both your physical and magical power will increase up to a maximum bonus of 70%. This can be great for players who like to live dangerously and stay at a relatively low HP before healing back up.

The other passive bonus is simply called Drop Boost. While this is active, the drop rate from both killed enemies and chests will be bumped up by 15%. Plain and simple, but obviously very good in spite of that.

Faction #2 – Alane

The passive bonuses for those who joined Alane are very lackluster, which explains why it is the least popular faction at the moment. Their perks are just pretty bad, which is a shame, as I think the Olympic Ability this deity gives you is a nice safety net.

Verdant Vitality, when active, will give you 50% more maximum health. That’s pretty much it, you just become a little tankier. No idea why you would want this over the other two, but it’s definitely an option… I guess.

This faction will also give you the Harvest Boost perk, which will increase your yield from gathering resources. Again, not really all that helpful unless there are some very scarce high value resources that have a slow respawn time. Even then, 40% is not that high in that context.

Judging by how it is the least popular faction at the moment, I think the majority of players right now agree that this is just a very underwhelming choice right now.

Faction #3 – Thar

Finally, we have Thar, the “cool dragon” deity who is currently trailing Nelde by thousands of points. It has much better passive bonuses than Alane, but seems to be a bit outclassed by the current leader.

Their Luck Boost perk will increase the probability of success in various chance-based activities. This includes stuff like upgrading gear, crafting stuff, and more. Personally, I don’t really find much use in it due to how there are other ways to mitigate bad outcomes, though I won’t pretend that I’m anywhere near the endgame either.

Next is their Mind Over Matter perk, which will increase every ability’s damage by 50% as long as your mana is above 50%. This one is particularly good for mages as they will not have a hard time maintaining a high mana pool.

My take is that this perk is a bit underwhelming unless you are rocking high wisdom. Builds that do not take high wisdom, which is pretty much most physical ones, are not going to be able to take full advantage of it as a single combo will easily drop your mana below 50%.

So, Which Faction is the Best?

In my opinion (yes, you are free to disagree) the best faction in the game right now is Nelde. Funnily enough, it is also the one I chose even before paying attention to the scores of each faction.

Drop Boost is just too strong of a passive compared to everything else, especially if you’re a hardcore grinder. I don’t see how its counterparts on the other two factions can even compete with it, because it just seems way better overall.

To top it off, Dark Pact is much more versatile as you can take advantage of it regardless of your build. With a bit of smart health management, you can easily hover at around 50% health or so in prolonged PVE encounters to gain some massive DPS boosts.

That’s all you really need to know about the three factions right now, which is just another choice you have to make for you character after picking a race to start with. What about you? What faction did you choose and why? Let us know in the comments below!
