Simply walking into a dungeon like it’s nobody else’s business doesn’t always happen in Diablo IV. The Crumbling Hekma would be a great example because not only is it shut tight but so is the Stronghold that protects it.
If that information was enough to narrow down the location of the Crumbling Hekma then great, you know what needs to be done. It’s okay if you still can’t find it though, you’re reading this guide after all to know more. Besides, you still have a few things to take care of to actually get in there.
Crumbling Hekma Location
Right now you have two problems. First is the location of the Crumbling Hekma, which is inside of Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold next to the Southern Expanse in Kehjistan. The fastest way to get there would be to use the Denshar Waypoint in the Fields of Hatred to the east.
Now you only have one problem, the Dungeon will remain locked until you finish the Campaign in the Dry Steppes region. A special third problem would be conquering Omath’s Redoubt to actually get in the dungeon. But clearing strongholds and making Sanctuary a safe place is your job so at this point it’s all trivial work.
Going inside from the northeast side of the stronghold is the better option because that’s where the ledge is located. You’ll find the white trail next to the ledge that allows you to climb your way into the stronghold.
Once you’re in, just follow the objectives. You’ll know where you need to go as areas of interest will have a yellow circle on your minimap. Slay High Priestess Hadar and rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine next to make Omath’s Redoubt somewhat of a safe haven once more.
When the stronghold is conquered and your campaign in the Dry Steppes is finished, you’ll be able to access the Crumbling Hekma dungeon in the northwestern side of the stronghold. Clear the dungeon to get the Legendary Aspect of Splintering Energy. It works best if you’re running as a Sorcerer.
