Increasing your strength is a crucial part of your Diablo 4 progress. This is when you go into dungeons and gather all the materials that aid your journey. Aspects are amazing drops from dungeons for you to increase your stats and become stronger.
The Derelict Lodge Dungeon is one of the Dungeons that give you an Aspect as a first-time completion reward. On defeating the boss, you will get the Legendary Aspect: Aspect of Explosive Verve. In this guide, we will provide you the location of the Derelict Lodge Dungeon.
Derelict Lodge Dungeon Location
For the location, you can find the Dungeon at The Pallid Glade subregion in Fractured Peaks. You can take the Kyovashad Teleportation Waypoint to the right of the dungeon in the mini map. You can complete this Dungeon by following these steps:
- Search the Slain Villagers for the Bloodstained Key.
- Use the Bloodstained Key to open the Door.
- Travel to the Acolytes’ Quarters.
- Slay the Enforcers: 2
- Travel to the Frigid Workshop.
- Defeat the Spiritcaller of Frost.
Once you have arrived at the Derelict Lodge Dungeon Entrance, interact with it to start. When you start the dungeon, your first task is to look for a Bloodstained Key from corpses you can find in the dungeon.
After you first enter the dungeon, keep following the path to proceed deeper into the dungeon. As you walk along the path, you will see a slain corpse on the ground, interact with the body to obtain your Bloodstained Key.
Be aware that there are enemies guarding areas that you need to defeat. As you progress and fight all the enemies, you will have to slay two Enforcers. After that, you will be able to go to the room that has the Final Boss.
Once you go through the giant door, head down the hallway and you’ll encounter the boss Spiritcaller of Frost. There are three attacks you should watch out for as you fight the Boss. They are the ice spikes attack, monsters that the boss spawns and spikes traps.
Keep it in mind that he will often shoot three ice projectiles that spread out. Pay attention to this pattern and you will be able to dodge his attacks. For summons, try to always maintain them a low number. If the number of spawned companions becomes uncontrollable, then you’re in big trouble. For the next attack, the AoE ice spikes can be dodged as long as you position yourself correctly!
On defeating the final boss, you will be given an Aspect of Explosive Verve. Next, open up your Codex of Power and you will be able to see the newly obtained Aspect there. This makes your Grenade Skills count as Trap Skills. Whenever you arm a Trap or drop Grenades, you gain [10-18] increased Movement Speed for 3 seconds.
