With the new season of Diablo 4, there are a lot of cool and challenging enemies that you can face. One of the bosses you’ll face near the end of the season is the Beast in the Ice boss. To get to this boss you’ll need to find a couple of items first and craft a sigil. A lot of people are confused about how you can get one of the ingredients for the sigil which is the Distilled Fear.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get Distilled Fear in the game and finally summon the boss. Now let’s see how you can start this boss fight!
How To Get Distilled Fear & Summon The Beast In The Ice Boss
To summon the Beast in the Ice Boss for the new season of Diablo 4, you’ll first need to find Distilled Fear. This item can be found at the end of Nightmare Dungeons in World Tier 4. That might be a challenge for some people but the rewards from this boss are quite worth it!
When you complete a nightmare dungeon in World Tier 4 the Distilled Fear will automatically be placed in your inventory. You’ll need 9 of them in total.

Once you have all of the Distilled Fear you need, you can go to any Occultist in the game. From there, you’ll want to go to the Craft Sigils tab. Look for the Ancestral Sigil “Glacial Fissure.”
That sigil needs 9 Distilled Fear and 250 Sigil Powder. Craft one and then and it’ll be placed in your inventory. You can then use it to unlock the lair of the boss.
Once you’ve used the sigil, a new dungeon will pop up in the map called the Glacial Fissure. That’s where you can then go next.
It’s just like any other dungeon in the game where you’ll need to progress till the end of it. At the very end of the dungeon is where the Beast In The Ice boss will spawn!
That’s how you get Distilled Fear and summon the Beast In The Ice boss in Diablo 4. Now go out there and try to beat this boss and get that sweet loot!
