Access to clean water is one of the many things our ancestors have given us before they left us on our own. The standard for what’s supposed to be clean however, sadly varies in Diablo IV. So at least you would know what to expect when you step inside of the Putrid Aquifer.

But first things first, how to actually get there. Following a river might be a good idea if you like taking forever to only find one dungeon. A better idea would be to read this guide as we will lead you straight to the source! Just promise you’ll clean your boots once you’re done with the place.

Putrid Aquifer Location

To get to the Putrid Aquifer, you need to travel to the eastern side of the Ragged Coastline. This can be found within the region of Kehjistan in the southwest. You can get there by using the waypoint over at the Iron Wolves Encampment. It’s the only dungeon on the far right that borders the Dilapidated Aqueducts and Caldeum, plus a small stream of water flows into the entrance, making the dungeon easier to find.

The interior of the dungeon will be riddled with pestilence and corpse piles that you will have to destroy. Getting through the dungeon without vomiting and finishing the objectives will get you the Legendary Aspect of the Unwavering. A defensive enhancement that you can make use of if you’re playing as a Sorcerer.

Diablo 4 Putrid Aquifer Location

That’s where you can find the Putrid Aquifer in Diablo IV! If you’re already done cleaning up the dungeons in the Ragged Coastline then maybe the Yshari Sanctum in Caldeum can be your next destination?

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
