Exploring new dungeons is one of the core tasks in Diablo IV. Clearing them is necessary to progress through the region or a game-changing reward. Dungeons are typically where you’ll also find Legendary Aspects that will improve the way you build your characters. While some are great to loot for EXPs and equipment, like Ruins of Eridu.
Ruins of Eridu’s popularity is rising within the community because of how good this place is to grind. Whether that’s for level or equipment, you don’t want to miss out on finding this place.
Ruins of Eridu Location
Ruins of Eridu is a dungeon that you can find in the Toxic fens area of Hawezar. It’s located in the far edge of the western area, a “once-mighty forest consumed by the swamp.” It is just west to the closest waypoint, which is the Vyeresz Waypoint. Although you will have to clear the Stronghold there first to active the waypoint.
Alternatively, you can walk from the main city of Umir Plateau in northeast to the dungeon.
The Ruins of Eridu is where you can get the Sacrifical Aspect for first-time completion reward. It is a Druid-only Legendary Aspect that increases Sacrifice bonuses by 15%. Below is what the entrace to the dungeon looks like.
The requirements to enter this dungeon is only level 35, but with the note that you’ve finished the World Quest. However, you might want to be at least World Tier III to start grinding hard here. At World Tier IV, you’ll appreciate this place for being the best power leveling location while getting tons of loot.
That is because this dungeon is all about slaying all the enemies. And right from the start, you’re faced with tons of mobs with elites. They spawn on top of you because the game is designed to prevent characters spending too much time checking corners of the map.
It remains as the best place to grind for XPs, Legendary equipment, and gold because of the enemy density. At least until the game devs have other thoughts.
