Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-sim game featuring a lot of popular Disney characters that you can interact with and accept quests from.
As you play through the game, you will be completing all sorts of tasks given to you by various familiar faces all around the valley, and among them is the Directive Plant quest.
Here’s a quick guide on how to complete it!
Directive Plant Quest Guide
Upon receiving the Directive Plant quest from EVE, which is only available after reaching a certain friendship level with her, she will task you with gathering the following materials:
- 3 Ancient Gears – Can be found all around the map with the use of the Hourglass.
- 3 Mechanical Parts – Each piece of this material can be crafted with 1 bronze ingot and 1 brass ingot.
- 10 Copper – Can be mined from rock nodes found all around any biome within Eternity Isle.
After that, you will be using these materials to craft the Scanner Accessory, which can be found under the Functional Items tab in the crating menu.
NOTE: In case you’re having a hard time, you can craft the Mechanical Parts in the Timetable!
Next, give the Scanner Accessory to EVE, who will most likely be at her house. Use the map to find her in case she is wandering around.
After that, your next task will be to simply go inside her house and investigate the Cobra Lily, which is the strange plant right on top of the table.
Upon returning to EVE, you will then be tasked with finding the following ingredients:
- Sea Snail – Can be fished within the Docks and Overlook locations.
- Sand Worm – Can be fished within the Plains, Wastes, or Borderlands regions.
- Scorpion – Similar to the Sand Worm, it can be found while fishing in the Plains, Wastes, or Borderlands.
With the aforementioned ingredients on hand, travel to your nearest cooking station and make the Gourmet Grubs meal.
Finally, after cooking the Gourmet Grubs, simply find EVE once more and give it to her. The quest should be completed after that.
And that’s all you need to do in order to complete the Directive Plant quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
It’s a relatively simple quest, especially if you already have a stock of all the necessary materials on hand!
